As disgraced outgoing Gov. Andrew Cuomo packed his bags and sent his belongings to his sister’s house in his last days in office, he left something very important behind — his dog.
Instead, Cuomo asked staff at his Albany mansion if they want to take care of his dog, Captain, the Albany Times Union reported, citing two state police sources.
The sources also told the publication an Executive Mansion worker recently took Captain home but didn’t want to take care of the canine.
But the outgoing governor fiercely denied the claim on Twitter — in what will likely be some of his last words as the state’s chief executive before his resignation is effective at midnight.

Captain may be Cuomo’s only friend in the world, right now.
Cuomo and his other Media-Dem Party operatives don’t care anything about people or pets, both are just used as props, so it should come as no surprise that he would abandon his dog.
Strange that he doesn’t have a vacation home in the Hamptons, or such.
Cuomo needs to be put down. POS.
This guy should never be able to hold public office again, not even as a dogcatcher.
Chances are that one of the staff took the dog,
"captain", home and it started humping everybody's leg.

The man made $3.1 million writing a book telling everyone how wonderful he is, so if he planned on taking a vacation after his resignation, why couldn’t he either take the dog with him, hire someone to care for the dog in his absence, or put the dog in a kennel until he returns? Better yet, let the dog take a vacation, and put Cuomo in a kennel. In fact, I’d suggest that Cuomo be sent to the Animal Shelter where he can receive expert behavioral training.

IMHO, ANYONE WHO WOULD ABANDON A DOG IN SUCH A CALLOUS, HATEFUL WAY IS CERTAINLY CAPABLE OF SEXUAL ASSAULT.

He was a certified POS when he deliberately murdered thousands of senior citizens in nursing homes last year, and he continued to be a big POS when on Mother's Day of 2020, he invited his mother to share a split TV screen with him, and they laughed and guffawed about what a great family they are, while at the same time, thousands of other people had either just lost their mother because of his evil nursing home pogrom, couldn't say a last goodbye to them, bury them, or even visit their mothers because of gathering restrictions.
This reminds me of the Clintons. For 8 years, we heard all about Chelsea Clinton’s cat Socks, supposedly adored by Bill, Hill and Chels. And then the Arkie grifters exited the White House... and left their beloved feline with Betty Curry, never to see or thought about again.

If you ever want to know who loves you more, your wife or your dog, here’s a simple test: lock both of them in the trunk of a car for an hour and then let them both out and see which one is happiest to see you.
The Clintons didn't have any room for the cat since they'd stolen so much stuff from The White House. Even Buddy was tossed aside. The Clintons had left the dog in the care of the Secret Service the day he ran into the road, and was killed. Now if only the Secret Service were as careless about the Democrats they guard.
