Anecdotes tell us what the data can’t: Vaccinated people appear to be getting the coronavirus at a surprisingly high rate. But exactly how often isn’t clear, nor is it certain how likely they are to spread the virus to others. And now, there’s growing concern that vaccinated people may be more vulnerable to serious illness than previously thought.
There’s a dearth of scientific studies with concrete answers, leaving public policy makers and corporate executives to formulate plans based on fragmented information. While some are renewing mask mandates or delaying office reopenings, others cite the lack of clarity to justify staying the course. It can all feel like a mess.
“We have to be humble about what we do know and what we don’t know,” said Dr. Tom Frieden, a former director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the head of the nonprofit Resolve to Save Lives. “There are a few things we can say definitively. One is that this is a hard question to address.”
“It’s quite clear that we have more breakthroughs now,” said Dr. Monica Gandhi, an infectious disease expert at the University of California, San Francisco. “We all know someone who has had one. But we don’t have great clinical data.”
All that said, some facts are well established at this point. Vaccinated people infected with the virus are much less likely to need to go to the hospital, much less likely to need intubation and much less likely to die from the illness. There’s no doubt that vaccines provide significant protection.
“The big picture here is that the vaccines are working and the reason for the spike in the U.S. is we have too little vaccine uptake,” Dr. Frieden said.

Starts out with a reasonable assessment that they really don’t know what is happening. Then makes a sweeping generalization that the problem is unvaccinated “too little uptake.” A conclusion that by his own admission a few sentences before is completely unsupported.

The “vaccines” are working. They are a cure for Wuhan flu hysteria, not a vaccine for the flu. Hysteria sufferers who get the vaccine overcome their hysteria, drop their precautions and get the flu. The success of the vaccinations is measured by the number of vaccinated who get the flu.
Herd immunity can be delayed but it can’t be denied.
Goalposts have been moved already. From EUA too “prevent Covid” to you won’t get as sick if you get it, to now if you get it, you won’t be as sick.
It’s so ridiculous, it’s amazing. But people are stubborn and extremely stupid, so it doesn’t seem to sink in.
That’s because the fully vaccinated are spreading an enhanced version of the relatively benign version of the original sickness. Only the vaccinated should be subject to quarantine and mandated masking. Isolating the potential spreaders is key - just as if they had cholera, AIDS or Tuberculosis.
The United States was largely over the coronavirus back in December until more and more fools starting injecting themselves, or allowing minimum wage “health care” workers to inject them with experimental dope from the government. The fact that a licensed physician will not go near these vaccines , nor has the FDA approved these unknown jabs should have been their first clue - but alas, you can’t fix stupid.
Too late. all the lemmings have already run off the proverbial cliff. You can’t unring the bell of a botched vaccination.

They cite as a fact that the shots offer “significant” protection, but I have not seen cohesive data showing that. The jury is still awaiting evidence.
The meandering course of lies, misinformation, guesses, and emotionally charged diatribes from all sides makes the collective data meaningless. The supposed experts have haphazardly pushed control-based solutions until their credibility has decayed to nothing.

You forgot a decimal point there. 99.7 to 99.8% survival are the real numbers for unvaxed general pop. Only the worst of the misinformation sites are calling it 97% survival. Even WEBMD has 99.75% in their estimated range of survival and they are controlled and “encouraged” to paint this as the black death.
Don’t paint an illusory picture to justify your decision to vax. For someone old and with co-morbidity issues it is probably a very good decision as long term vax issues are less problematic given short expected life spans, but don’t cloud the issue by quoting crap numbers.
