Former President Donald Trump was booed by his own supporters during a rally in Cullman, Alabama Saturday night after he encouraged the crowd to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
"I believe totally in your freedoms, I do, you gotta do what you gotta do, but I recommend take the vaccines. I did it. It's good," he said, drawing loud boos from the crowd of supporters.
"That's okay, that's alright," Trump continued, brushing off the disapproval. "But I happen to take the vaccine. If it doesn't work, you'll be the first to know. But it is working. You do have your freedoms, you have to maintain that."
A growing number of Republican leaders have urged voters to get the coronavirus vaccine as the highly contagious Delta variant sweeps through most parts of the U.S., driving up cases, deaths and hospitalizations in a new phase of the pandemic.

I just listened to the rally, and heard that part. I didn’t hear any booing from the crowd. PDJT said “you have to keep your freedoms” over and over. He also said he took the vaccine, and I believe him.
It's not the experimental gene therapy I'm against per se. I'm against being forced to take it under threat of losing my job or ability to travel or shop.
If the experimental gene therapy works, fine, you've got nothing to worry about from those of us who don't want to be used as lab rats.
If everyone, vaxed or not, would take HCQ and/or Ivermentin at the first sign of COVID-19 illness, much of this disaster could be avoided.
Wait a minute are you expecting me to believe that Newsweek would stoop to mischaracterizing what happened in a way unfair to Trump? Next you will start telling me that there are big plants taller than people called trees, and that there are places on the Earth cold enough for water to freeze solid, and other Right wing conspiracy crap.
The media is going to try to paint this as Trump supporters being clueless rubes who just believe everything Tucker Carlson tells them about vaccines now
We all know what happened when Trump recommended Hydroxychloroquine guys like Neil Cavuto came on air accusing the man of murder
a few people in the crowd sounded off- it wasn’t loud, it wasn’t angry- they just voiced their opinion of the vaccines- that’s all- newsweaklings is trying to make a mountain out of a molehill

Trump had Covid pretty bad and he had friends who passed away...
And I know it’s not my place to speculate but there was never a cause given for his brother Robert’s death last year...
I agree, use your own brain. If you want to take the Jabs, it is on you. I won’t do it. 1. because I don’t trust anyone involved in the medical, scientific or political side. 2. Because they are pushing it so hard. If I give in, if WE give in on this, they own us forever. There will be another Jab in 6 months forever, the world as we know it will own us.
Not gonna click on the Newsweak link. Just tell me whether or not that was the only thing he said during the entire speech that the reporter wrote about.
