I can see any number of reasons why this is a very bad idea. But logical reasoning simply is not a strategy to be used with certain mindsets.
OK, this one. Why bother with natural wombs at all? The technology probably exists, or can be gained within a very few more years, to create and maintain an entirely artificial environment for the implantation, growth and development of an embryo into a viable human being (or other species, for that matter), without having to resort to messy, uncertain and unreliable “natural” methods.
Again, to reiterate the original comment, “just because we can doesn’t mean we should.”

I didn’t read the article, as this is all so disgusting, but I’m skeptical as hell that a uterus transplanted into a man will even partially function. properly
This bizarre creature should be in the hands of competent psychiatrists not quack surgeons.
Every cell in this persons body does not believe the lie that their sex distinct DNA does not say male, no matter how he abuses his body and has it surgically mutilated. There is no “transition” in “transgender”, merely medically induced appearance of a pretense, done to sooth an errant obsession.
