That’s just it about battery operated cars. A tesla crashed in autonomous mode a couple months ago in Texas, killed both occupants, caught fire and the fire dept used THIRTYTWO THOUSAND gallons of water trying to put it out....ended up having to just stand by and watch it burn itself out.
What kind of pollution did THST put into the atmosphere I wonder........REAL good for the planet.

My Hyundai Kona Electric is in the shop cor a battery recall. They are spending over 900 million pre-inflation dollars recalling 2019 and 2020 Kona Electrics.
There is a company running an app car rental service called Gig. It’s very popular. 275 a week unlimited miles free charging and insurance by AAA. They run exclusively on Chevy Bolts.

This will NOT help!
Actually, the battery fires are impossible to put off. The battery generates explosive gas. Even if you put it off, it will start again.
Even inept FEMA issued a warning and instruction on lithium battery fires, basically stating, do not bother unless you have mega supply of water.
