That’s just it about battery operated cars. A tesla crashed in autonomous mode a couple months ago in Texas, killed both occupants, caught fire and the fire dept used THIRTYTWO THOUSAND gallons of water trying to put it out....ended up having to just stand by and watch it burn itself out.

No joke. The idea of making everything battery-powered to save the environment is STUPID. Batteries are a terrible pollution hazard, so lets increase it by a factor of a billion in cars. Just stupid, electric cars are as much a gimmick as the “energy savings”.
