Data published by Israel’s Ministry of Health in late July suggested that the Pfizer shot was just 39% effective against preventing infection in the country in late June and early July, compared with 95% from January to early April. In both periods, however, the shot was more than 90% effective in preventing severe disease.
Experts warn that these early assessments have not been scientifically proven. The small numbers of cases involved, Israel’s testing policies and a host of other biases could have skewed the results.
Still, as summer approached, infections began to spiral.

After many days of zero COVID-19 deaths in June, at least 230 Israelis have died so far this month.
Unlike previous epicenters of infection in Israel’s crowded, less-vaccinated ultra-Orthodox communities, this scourge primarily took hold in well-vaccinated, middle-class suburbs.

Israel is now pinning its hopes on booster shots.

Some of us can multi-task, and are pushing against the biowarfare attack on millions of Americans, billions of people around the globe, at the same time we are criticizing the Biden admininistration for obeying China and handing Afghanistan to the Taliban along with thousands of AMerican hostages.
I'd say that the CDC pulling the PCR test because it didn't work is pretty much an admission that they have been using wrong numbers all along. Good argument to be made that the whole "pandemic response" aspect COVID has been fake based on that fact alone.

My family and I took both Pfizer so-called “vaccine” injections. After reading literature on both sides, I’ve come to the conclusion that it was a mistake. I hope it will not kill my wife or me (my brother died a little over a month after taking the second shot). I was rather snootily told it protects from COVID (it doesn’t), not heart problems. Actually, there are convincing arguments that it causes blood clots, lung and heart problems. I’m not a medical doctor but I have a PhD in biology and can understand medical articles.
39% effectiveness is a feature, not a bug, to guarantee semi-annual covid vaccinations of the entire world forever ...

My only post on Covid/opinion is that it has suddenly re-emerged as this uber emergency at a time when Afghanistan has been the news. I believe that the MSM and Biden are engaged in full distraction.
I will say this, I find it somewhat amusing to see the media have to pivot and use for cover a story that makes them look foolish. Buried in each of their Covid stories is that one burning question we all know the answer to:
How many of these new cases are presenting in those who were fully vaccinated? It is funny, for example, to see the media try to blast Texas and glance over, at the speed of sound, that the Texas governor has Covid despite being fully vaccinated?
A real pickle this one is. They have to pivot to a topic that isn’t casting Biden or them in the best light but is less worse than Afghanistan.
