“The past 18 months have taught me that while you cannot control the world around you, you can control how you live within those circumstances. That is what defines who you are and what builds resilience and character,” he said of how he approached his responsibilities as a university president, requiring him to keep his students safe while providing a worthy education.

Should we go back to the days when the party elected our senators and presidents? The masses are easily led by the Obamas and JFK’s out there. People(the masses) are too busy working to pay attention.
Then there are the entrenched, unelected bureaucrats running the departments. FBI and CIA continue to make mistakes and never change. The Dr. Fauchi’s continue to get it wrong. If Trump couldn’t stop it Mitch Daniels wouldn’t. Long term vigilance is the answer and the 17th amendment took away the balance of power.
Reagan affil of Daniels got morphed by being ousted by daddy bush and taken up post 8 years of clinton by the bush down line which was the GWB iraq debacle and the “gift” from the idiot billy cokenose clinton’s ignoring of islamofascism— ie. 9-11. And GWB finished the task in Afghanistan then mission escalated for mil-industrials for 19 years.
Don’t forget, there is a legitimated represented whistleblower Howell Parrott (a see eye ehhhh asset of sorts) who continues to make the (audio recording supported, with biden’s former chief of staff, and Cong. Weldon) claim that GWB paid ransom to Iran to keep osama bin laden out of circulation (ie. we never did kill obl, but a pakistan stand in, dumped at sea recall). And that the big pay to Iran (which obamaumao raked off his %age and Qatar’s) was another ransom under the “cover” of the “iran nuclear deal”. This is an “open secret”. Parrott has representation under the Statute for whistleblowing, and uh... has not been killed.
He’s done a great job at Purdue.
Truly one of the best univ heads in America.
Boiler Up!
That is true. Certainly a standout for fiscal conservatism and a lot of cultural agreement as well. As he did in Indiana as governor. Not crazy about the Pharma machinery in Lilly (which is a kingmaker of sorts in Indiana, but Lilly is/was on. As the article says— the political side of Exec hiring at Lilly is the former governor. There are several “lib” like items Daniels supported/supports that belies a “conservative” description... more like a “bushie” (the declining dynasty that ended with Jeb!).
A an aside, ethically, Lilly is not the monster (with the business plan that encorporates the Fedgov as single source contractor “partner” for fedgov obamaumaocare pharma, which was and still is Pfizer’s plan) that is Pfizer, or as the pros say in the industry, acquired and then Pfired— the graveyard of major US pharma innovators now gone: Upjohn, Wyeth, Parke-Davis- once the top pharma company in the US, Monarch, Pharmacia and Searle/Monsanto, and they are still trying to rip/spinoff Bristol-Myers Squibb.
The dangling “bushie” participle (and continuing bush connex) has not helped Daniels. His fiscal conservatism have always related to... like a David Stockman, or Reagan.
5 posts = boring topic. At least Mosby gets a participation trophy. He’s just all over the place.
Obama would have been tough for anyone to beat, being the Lightworker and performing miracles and all, but Mitch might have done it. He is wickedly funny, would have run rings around Obozo intellectually, and could have mocked him with class and good high humor. Lefties can't take ridicule. That might have been Obama's Achilles heel. I still think Mitch might have made the run absent the spousal veto, which was absolute.
No- FRiend highly focused on the fall of the Bush “dynasty” along with the Clintonites scraping the crap off of obamaumao’s shoes. That’s all.
BTW, Howell Parrott is real, and legally represented, under the federal Statute— whistleblower. The audio that is available online is biden’s fixer and attorney, and former congr. R- Curt Weldon of PA. It is at minimum... a “thing”. Or an op, or ... nothing. Understand that the bush/obamaumao pals— (see George hugging moochelle) was expected to continue with Hitlery, but did not, hence the desperate nature of the “JoeBama” lunacy theft.
But uh, thanks for the trophy— putting it on the digital mantlepiece.
*I still think Mitch might have made the run absent the spousal veto, which was absolute.*
That’s the the 17th amendment problem. A short 60-day campaign with a surprise nominee. She would have had to go along. The opposition party would not have that much time to get their research together. In and out. Incumbency made the GOP nominee a sacrificial lamb.
Daniels was a really good Governor. He was so much better than Pence. The guy is brilliant, but he isn’t charismatic. Our current Governor is a RINO owned by Beijing.
