It looks like any Americans or other foreigners “sheltering in place” away from the airport are de facto hostages of the Taliban—I have not seen this discussed so far...

The foreign correspondent reporter for FOX just said the Taliban are going door to door and grabbing anyone suspected of assisting the US troops. This was confirmed by her A++ sources. So sheltering in place just means waiting for the Taliban to knock on your door. I wonder if a reporter will ask Joe how we can prevent these actions, but then again, he won't take any substantive questions.
