For me the most shocking thing in the end is how the US seized the airport with its limited means and just ran, ran… Even people with booked flights got fucked (first time I write this word on twitter). Ambassador even left thousands of Americans behind

The question should be asked of anyone who’s blaming Trump for this fiasco in Afghanistan… Why did we abandon Bagram Air Base before evacuating Americans diplomats, advisers etc.? We could’ve used C130s to protect that base as we got out everyone we wanted to in an orderly way.
