Corrector.co works fine w/ Brave.
Slightly OT, does anyone know of a good, free spell checker for Word Pad?

I have a better one. I learned to spell and do grammar in school back when those things used to be taught. I do my own proofreading. It is easy to tell in a news article when the writer has relied on machine proofing. I prefer any errors or oversights to be my own, usually due to haste, than to be a result of accepting a robot’s often faulty judgment.

The better the spell check and grammar check that it used, the more creepy the AI that is infesting the program.
Just a thought.

Does it know the difference in their, there, and they're?
Does it know that "a" is a word, and that "lot" is also a word, but "alot" is not a word?
:)

Don't know about Windows but for Linux/Ubuntu, it's the operating system that has the spell checker and all applications use it. I'm pretty good at spelling though. It's the keyboard that gets me sometimes. I used the same keyboard layout for over a decade but that layout changed on newer Thinkpad laptops and I had to make the switch a couple of years ago and still haven't gotten used to it. I'm constantly hitting the Caps Lock button when I go for the A key.
I did have to spend a little time teaching spellcheck the American spellings of word like colour color, labour labor etc. Just right click the American spelling and click "Add to Dictionary".
