NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) - Friday, a woman reached out to News4 claiming she was paralyzed after receiving the Pfizer vaccine.
Brandy McFadden got her second dose of the Pfizer vaccine on April 16. "I just started not feeling great," she recalled.
By the following afternoon, Mcfadden said she couldn't walk and had excruciating neck pain. "It just started progressively getting worse and I just started screaming in pain at the top of my lungs."
Unable to move from the neck down, her husband took her to the emergency room at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Six days later, she remained in the hospital, and said a CT scan, MRI, EMG, and blood work all returned nothing unusual. Mcfadden told News4 she is epileptic but said this was not a seizure.
"As far as to answers as to why this happened, they don't know," she said.
By the following Friday, McFadden had regained movement in her arms, and could wiggle her toes. She believes she had a reaction the Pfizer Vaccine.
"This has been a nightmare," she said. "I just wanted to get my shot, and I never expected to get this at all."
McFadden has been in touch with a woman in Pittsburgh, who claims the same thing happened to her. " It was the scariest thing in the world to go to sleep completely fine, to wake up 1:30 in the morning and not be able to move at all," the woman told WPXI.
"You're happy to find somebody else, but you're like, 'how could this be happening?'" Mcfadden said, tearfully.
News4 does not have medical confirmation that this event was related to the Pfizer vaccine. Vanderbilt University Medical Center declined to comment.
Pfizer sent News4 the following statement.
"We take adverse events that are potentially associated with our COVID-19 vaccine, BNT162b2, very seriously. We closely monitor all such events and collect relevant information to share with global regulatory authorities. At this time, our ongoing review has not identified any safety signals with paralysis and the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine.
To date, more than 200 million people around the world have been vaccinated with our vaccine. It is important to note that serious adverse events that are unrelated to the vaccine are unfortunately likely to occur at a similar rate as they would in the general population."
It is interesting, and an intellectually dishonest practice, to ascribe all bad things happening around the time of COVID-19 infection as being primarily from that infection, while saying all bad things that happen around the time of COVID-19 vaccination as not being from the COVID-19 infection.
That is, “ while saying all bad things that happen around the time of COVID-19 vaccination as not being from the COVID-19 VACCINATION.”
Epilepsy is a horrible disease.
In before someone comes in and tells us that her case is one in a million among those already vaccinated.
How many of these are psychosomatic ?
Throw a rat on her bed and see if she moves. Only half kidding.
Now imagine that she was “mandated” by her company to get that vaccine
Cha-ching! We are talking $ 7-figure legal settlement.
Any corporation who gets involved in mandating the vaccine is setting themselves up for future bankruptcy.
How often do epileptic people get temporary paralysis?
A quick search shows Todd's Paralysis.
Todd's paresis (or postictal paresis/paralysis, "after seizure") is focal weakness in a part or all of the body after a seizure. This weakness typically affects appendages and is localized to either the left or right side of the body. It usually subsides completely within 48 hours. Todd's paresis may also affect speech, eye position (gaze), or vision.
Doesn't quite fit but maybe the vax exasperates it and/or makes it happen even without a seizure. That's fine but the complete denial or in the case of this hospital, no comment, is the real problem. We're dismissed, lied to, insulted or ignored when we dare ask questions.
This is why there should always be choice with vaccines. Occasionally bad things happen, or even an amazing coincidence happens. People can move on if they lose family members due to individual choices. If a loved one is lost due to forced actions by the state, however, look out.

They came just after you posted that. Making their usual excuses.
Covid has risks and the vaccine has risks.
We all have risks associated with covid and we can change behaviors to minimize those risks.
But the only way to minimize the risks from the vaxx is to not inject it into your body.
And while the vaxx may provide some risk management against covid, it is short-lived and may actually increase the risk of getting covid.
It will be interesting to see how the complications from inherent risks of the vaxx itself trend over time and if their risks/rewards are worse than from covid.
In this case, the vaxxes seem more like a recreational drug that gets you high at first, but soon the high wears off and you MUST have more to get the same high again.
Ultimately, it doesn’t fix anything and might damage you permanently or even kill you for having tried it.
The only vaxx-induced immunity is for the manufacturers and maybe those who mandate the vaxx for service or employment.

I see this as wishful thinking to avoid unpleasant actions.
The Rule-of-Law in this country is already dead. We have a Pretense-of-Law that will keep people quiet for a while. But large corporations will be protected by the courts as long as they do the bidding of the Government. Or quite possibly it is the other way around.
In any case, the powers-that-be want all common citizens to accept the mRNA treatment with annual boosters, as long as they live. It does not really matter how long or short that might be. Totalitarian control is the purpose.
What recourse may be available will be handed out to company executives in a parking lot.

No proof its related to vaccine. Descartes demon could, as far as we know, be using all its power and cunning to deceive us. On the other hand we should remain hyper gullible to any claim that advances the cdc agenda just as much as we are hyper skeptical of claims that undermine it...thus maintaining a reasonable balance.
