According to the World Health Organization (WHO), more than 4 billion doses of vaccine have been administered worldwide. Although the number continues to increase, the percentage is still nowhere near the 70% of the population targeted for vaccination to achieve herd immunity. 80% of the vaccines have been given in high-income countries, that's less than half of the world's population.
However, the population that has already received their full vaccination schedule may now be awaiting a third dose to boost the immunity produced in order to prevent Covid-19.
On thursday Anthony Fauci, White House medical advisor, said it is "inevitable" to consider administering a third dose of COVID-19 vaccines in the future. The epidemiologist did not mention a date for when this would occur.

But just last month someone got all huffy with me when I said that acquired immunity was better then vaccinated immunity and told me how magical mRNA vaccines were far better then natural immunity.
Hate to say it but how many break through cases of people with naturally acquired immunity have you heard of?

Obviously herd immunity is much more comprehensive. Proof is a single jab of their vaccine (a disease to beat another disease) is not enough.
Just out of curiosity? What exactly are the profits with these vaccines? Take just one, say Pfizer. How much does Pfizer profit from each shot? Did Pfizer receive all of the profit from each vaccine shot? How many vaccines did Pfizer provide outside of the US? Did Pfizer reimburse the US government for early monetary support to create these vaccines? Did other countries contribute financially to the vaccine creation? Asking for a friend.
