Novavax’s Adjuvanted COVID-19 Vaccine Caused Severe Adverse Reactions in Clinical Trials:
Toxicology. Quillaja saponin (sapotoxin) is reported to be highly toxic. 3 Severe toxic effects following the ingestion of large doses of the bark include liver damage, gastric pain, diarrhea, hemolysis, respiratory failure, convulsions and coma.
This is their adjuvant: MATRIX-M1 ADJUVANT (UNII: YZ7P8Y8ECX)—quillaja saponin???
Someone tell me I am getting this incorrect. Please?
Dosage makes the poison.
For example, a number of blood pressure medicines are not much more than small amounts of snake venom (anything ending in -pril).
Captopril, in particular, is pretty much just pit viper venom.
Mind you THIS IS NOT an endorsement of this vaccine. But the fact that a little bit of poison is in it is pretty common with all medicines.
The “severe Adverse Reactions” cited in the first link are such things as “fatigue”, “malaise”, temp of 101.5. The article also says that these reactions were limited to 2 days on average. It does not list any long term negative effects.
The toxicology link you gave pointed out that there are safe amounts of the saponin compound in foods. The first link, in the comments, points out that saponin occurs in root beer. Of course, ingesting a compound is different than injecting a compound. But, at any rate, it’s toxicity is not quite as bad as it sounds. The purpose of an adjuvant is to increase the immune response of the body. So it wouldn’t do to use salt water.
The Novavax uses the very same tech as the Rubella vaccine of MMR fame.
Every kid in America has had it.
It’s a conventional vaccine.
