Dosage makes the poison.

For example, a number of blood pressure medicines are not much more than small amounts of snake venom (anything ending in -pril).

Captopril, in particular, is pretty much just pit viper venom.

Mind you THIS IS NOT an endorsement of this vaccine. But the fact that a little bit of poison is in it is pretty common with all medicines.

Warfarin, the most widely used oral coagulant in America is made of rat poison.

We know warfarin, by the brand names Coumadin® and Jantoven® and as its generic name, warfarin. Warfarin is part of a group of plant-based compounds called coumarins.
