Sen. Cramer (R-ND): If I was king, I wouldn't support that [vehicle charging] ... Unfortunately, our founders gave us something other than the king

@ChadPergram

A) GOP ND Sen Cramer on Fox on infrastructure bill: Democrats have a majority in the House and the White House..So you're going to have to take some of those things to get all of the other really good things

B) Cramer: I don't like electric vehicle charging stations. For example, if I was king, I wouldn't. I wouldn't support that. But unfortunately, our founders gave us something other than the king.

They tend to be ex-governors or state-wide office holders and are very well known.

Once they have wormed their way in to the Senate it’s impossible to get rid of them.

They know it too.

You need to repeal the 17th to solve this.

If I were a king, for correct English. And, if I were a king, almost every high-level government official in Washington D.C. from Congress on down would be punished appropriately for treason.

Folks who wonder how Babylon fell in one night by someone on the inside leaving the only way in to the city, the river gate, open, need only look at our country's rapid demise to see what is about to happen here. No government official, agency or military force is going to save us from what is about to happen.

No one person or entity is going to be able to stop it. The hand is writing on the wall...

As long as people see fit to support the RNC/GOP this is exactly the kind of shit sandwich that those dickheads will continue to serve up.

To paraphrase President Ronald Wilson Reagan, “I didn’t leave the “Republican” Party, they left me.”

Do not bother trying to tell me that means that I support the Commies, because that dog no longer hunts, either.

The thousand+ page bills are infuriating and both sides do it time and again.

If the people really want a federal government to do infrastructure then it can easily be one page i.e “we grant each state x billion for y”.

I’m not particularly for it but there you go. It shouldn’t be complicated.

Instead you have a bill stuffed full of pork and who knows what...

GOP needed to kill it.

The GOP wanted it. They want the $3.5T one too. They are liars and phonies just playing the role of 'loyal opposition' for the cameras and to fool the voters into thinking we have a choice when we vote.

The two things that I’d do if I were made king but could only do two things would be these:
1) Term limits
2) No bill before congress can exceed the text of the constitution in word count. That’s excluding amendments, just the main body of the constitution.

Those two things would destroy most of the BS that the uniparty plays on us to hide who they really are and avoid accountability.

I’d call the guy a wimp but he’s probably getting some kick back off the deal so if doesnt matter how bad it looks from a political view (even disregarding how bad it is in general)

I remember a Congressman suggesting that a few years ago, evidently it went no where. Wish I could remember their name.

"You need to repeal the 17th to solve this."

Patriots need to primary federal and state elected officials who don't send voters email ASAP that clearly promises to do the following.

Federal and state lawmakers need to promise in their emails to introduce resolutions no later than 100 days after start of new legislative sessions that propose an amendment to the Constitution to the states to repeal the 16th and ill-conceived 17th Amendments.

Leadership is not let’s make a deal it’s leading the way.

So many weak and greedy hacks in DC. how long can it last?.

Look people. We aren’t effing around anymore. He’s counting on ND voters forgetting about this in ‘24 and they probably will so it starts in ‘22 with Thune up in SD. The 2 states are peas in a pod. Some nobody(Mark Mowery) going against Thune. That’s it. No leadership. We need fighters and our ‘leaders’ won’t even fight for the nomination.

He admits the legislation is corrupt, but he votes for it because he is more patriotic and virtuous than the rest of us.

Simple minds like us do not appreciate this sophistication.
