From a lawyer’s point of view, the lawsuit’s claims are ridiculous – but they sure make the teachers look guilty.
Nicole Solas, a Rhode Island mom with a kindergartener in public school, was curious about whether CRT had entered her daughter’s school. Therefore, she filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request with her school district. The school has been fighting her to keep these taxpayer-funded records private and, just this week, the local branch of the National Education Association (America’s largest teacher’s union) sued to block her request. Frankly, from a lawyer’s point of view, the union’s objections are ridiculous.
The complaint is here. I’ve reviewed it and, while I’ll be the first to admit that I last worked on school district law in the mid-1980s, I think I have enough experience under my belt to point and laugh at the complaint.
The remedy the union seeks is simple:
In short, this action seeks to: (a) prohibit the disclosure of non-public records; and/or (b) for those requests that call for personally identifiable and other personnel related information about public school teachers, that no records be disclosed under the Court employs a balancing test that properly assesses the public interest in the records at issue measured against the teachers’ individual privacy rights.
It’s certainly understandable that the teachers should have an expectation of privacy when it comes to records about their health or personal finances. Otherwise, these are public employees. If one of the teachers is sending around emails saying, “We’d better make sure the White students understand their unfairly acquired privilege,” it doesn’t matter if she didn’t fill out a form to make that statement.

Find like minded parents, work together, pool your resources, and get your kids the heck out of publik skrewls.
The schools are fighting to keep secret what they are teaching children. Knowing that why in God’s name would you send your children there?

If that means painting their teachers as liars, then so be it. If that means getting them not to respect their the teachers who promote this crap then so be it.
By all means fight this through the local school boards but be aware that the teachers unions are very powerful and are not easily moved. Home school if you can but not everybody has the ability to do that. Until we can get this poison out of our schools, it is up to us as parents and grandparents to right this wrong
This teachers BS has been going on since Obama’s education czar pushed teaching little boys to be gay. Then the trannie crap came. Now we have this WOKE and CRT. It may be time for no whites to use public schools and to stay away from certain stores.

Also continue with FOIA requests. All teachers in every school I’ve worked at are made aware that any email on school servers or using a school email address are discoverable. Go get’em.
I hope that mother and everyone else at that school withdrew their children. That is the ONLY thing these educational fools understand.
Also, vote down any/all school bonds if the schools in your area do not reflect your views (as in CRT). This is what we do.
Yep. If anyone had any doubts that there is a formal mechanism to get this curriculum in front of children, one only needs to consider the actions of the school union.
All school related business, curriculums, pay, contracts for school books equipment, teacher reviews, job applications, teacher resumes, EVERYTHING should be EASILY available to ANY person whose locale is covered by that school district.
EVERYTHING.
But MOST especially curriculums. I find it astonishing that they would say “No, we refuse to show you what we are teaching you children.”

I speak from experience as a recently retired 33-year veteran of the public schools.
We were told when the district gave us school e mails years ago that these were NOT private - and warned not to use them for private business.
I learned this lesson when I used my school e mail to ask another teacher what time we were meeting later for dinner.
Got a response from a moderator somewhere that I was NOT to use school e mail for personal business.

Cameras in all classrooms, teachers must have monthly criminal and mental background checks couple with ankle monitoring devices.

1) Parents of all races need to pull their children from any situation that refuses to disclose what is being taught and why.
2) Funding for public schools needs to move to a user fee-based system instead of property taxes. Then, miraculously, the schools would care what parents thought.
Absolutely run for the school board but it DID take them years to get control. We might have just noticed it, but they started years, if not decades ago. We need to prepare for a long battle. And once we do get control of the school boards, don't think "we won, it's over and now we can rest easy". The NEA will throw tons of money to get their candidates back in power the next election. These are committed Marxist ideologues and the minute we let down, they will be back in force. Vote 'em out yes, but stay active and keep 'em out!
Until then, please stay engaged with your children and grand children to combat the bulls##t their "teachers" will throw at them.
Look at the teacher’s unions in other states. Alabama had an AEA week. (AL Education Assoc.). These unions need to be busted just like the Gov employees. Our senators and Reps. are in the Fed. Employ. Union.

The elections are always during the summer, when teachers and commies that are unemployed are home and ready to vote..
A simple state law that states ALL elections will be held on the same date would destroy them once and for all...
