Comments from Moderna CEO Stéphane Bancel on Mornings with Maria, as well as a press release from the company, demonstrate why the current shots given to protect against COVID-19 are analogous to the flu shots rather than the vaccines we receive as children that protect us against the measles and other diseases for a lifetime. The rapidly accumulating data makes the idea of vaccine mandates and passports absurd.
First, recent data from the U.K., Israel, and the CDC demonstrate that while the shots seem effective at reducing COVID-19 illness severity and duration, they do not prevent all infections, which would classify them as a therapeutic rather than an inoculation. It appears that the immune response generated by the vaccines cannot prevent the virus from replicating in all patients or for a significant period of time.
The concept of boosters has come up in several countries. Israel is currently using the original Pfizer formulation to provide boosters to at-risk patients after finding a decline in efficacy over time. Their last analysis placed the effectiveness of Pfizer’s vaccine at preventing infection at 39%, with time since full vaccination appearing to affect the level of protection. Those vaccinated in January only maintain 16% effectiveness from infection with the Delta variant. The Health Ministry’s data shows a decline in efficacy over time.

“Get your jabs here. Get your red hot jabs.”

“...Mandates and Passports Are a Ridiculous Proposal” As if that’ll stop them.
The drug companies would rather sell annual jabs than 1-time jabs.
They want the public to be forced to buy their products.
They want cheap alternatives hidden, discredited and outlawed.
We cannot believe anything they or their agents tell us.
Covid varian Whack-A-Mole, brought to you by experimental gene therapy.
Vaccine passports wouldn’t last long in the U.S. in any case. Blacks have gotten vaccinated against Covid at much lower rates than whites. If vaccine passports are required, the majority of blacks will not be able to go to restaurants, they won’t be able to fly or stay in hotels. At that point liberals will suddenly discover that the passports are racist and the program would be cancelled.
RE: Vaccine passports wouldn’t last long in the U.S. in any case.
I just got this information from a FReeper in another thread:
For those that have recovered from Covid and who wish to be able to provide proof of IMUNIZATION but cant or dont want to provide proof of vaccination, there is now an FDA approved EUA test.
It is kind of pricy - $140 ish, but can provide evidence that you have immunity to covid.
Boosting graphene oxide for further human testing.
Exciting, for psychopaths.
Looked into it. Not bad but there’s added cost for pulling blood, another $60.
It’s not clear it can detect months beyond the standard anti-bodies test.
Having said that, I wish it could. It may be next on my list.
If the “vaccines” use mRNA to message the immune system how do they “wear off” such that a booster is needed? Does the body metabolize the mRNA or the newly created antibodies or newly created immune response?
Curious people are dying to know.
Or is it just that the mRNA is specific to only one brand of covid as the flu shot is only specific to one brand of flu?
I don’t take the flu shot either as I consider it a waste of time opposed to a good and improving immune system that has successfully resisted previous strains of flu. Touch wood, I have not been sick with anything in the last many years of my 7 decades.
I’m just curious to know exactly what benefit this covid vaccine provides making it a clear and superior alternative to developing natural immunity and a better risk to the already very low probability of death from Covid.
I hope not to regret my position but that is only natural.
So what?
By that standard there are no inoculations.
“the vaccines we receive as children that protect us against the measles and other diseases for a lifetime.”
This is a statement based on ignorance rather than fact. None of those vaccines have 100% effectiveness and all of them wane over time. Tetanus requires a booster every ten years, whooping cough is about seven or eight years, but it’s far less dangerous to adults so they don’t worry about it much.
Even having the disease doesn’t necessarily confer lifetime immunity. Polio and chicken pox can return in the elderly as post polio syndrome and shingles. The immune system ages with us and becomes increasingly weak.
People need to stop viewing covid vaccines through the prism of childhood vaccines because those aren’t novel or pandemic diseases anymore which makes breakthrough cases even more rare because the chance of being challenged by one of the viruses is very low due to high vaccination rates.
The rapidly accumulating data makes the idea of vaccine mandates and passports absurd.
