Do you honestly believe that solar panels will fuel the society as we have it today in a similarly efficient and cost effective way as now?

If you do say why and how it will be done and at what cost.

If you still do after thinking about how to answer my question come talk to me about some swampland I’d like to sell you.

There will be a minimum tax for those who do not have a phone, forgot to pay their bill, etc. Nobody escapes what the government demands.

They will put additional federal and state taxes on power and call it “green”. You will own nothing and be happy.

Tax by the mile already exists - it’s called Excise Tax on tires.

“Do you honestly believe that solar panels will fuel the society as we have it today in a similarly efficient and cost effective way as now?”

No. I don’t. But as technology improves, new innovations can arise which will at the least compliment existing energy producing technologies. This will have to come from the private sector and not the government. Look at companies like Solyndra. We have to remove the government from the energy business just like we have to go back and remove them from health care.

There is a lot of opportunity in using alternative energy sources, but so long as Democrats champion it for their own selfish purposes, (kickbacks and payoffs) something like this will never materialize and be useful. The bigger issue is Republicans who are going along with this.

My recommendation would be nuke plants, which offer the best ROI and produce the cleanest of all alternative energies.

Remember though that for any rig less than 20 yrs old or so the “odometer” is just displaying what the computer outputs. So you’ll need some hacking.
