Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said on Monday that he had tested positive for the coronavirus, even though he was fully vaccinated.
“I was just informed by the House physician I have tested positive for COVID-19 even after being vaccinated,” he said.
“I started having flu-like symptoms Saturday night and went to the doctor this morning. I feel like I have a sinus infection and at present time I have mild symptoms. I will be quarantining for ten days,” he added.
Graham is the first senator known to test positive for the coronavirus in months. Nearly every senator has been vaccinated.
Graham was spotted at the Capitol on Monday and briefly spoke to reporters…

Probably from hanging around his RAT friends who escaped TX.
thanx...how about it...
since the covid test can’t identify the strain, they needed a label for the vaccinated who catch COVID.
I wonder how many who already had COVID and not vaccinated are catching it again?

ADE?
Sounds like the P-town gang....
I have to say you are quick, your bosses must be happy.
Polio 4 doses? I had one at age 10.
I was told it has more to do with the fact that Smallpox, Polio, Yellow Fever, etc., are relatively stable entities and don’t continuously mutate. So immunization (more or less) confers lifetime immunity.
That, I am told, is a reason that there hasn’t been any 100% effective immunizations for common cold and flu viruses, they are crafty and always mutating and will remain elusive. It sure would be nice to get a “flu shot” and never get a respiratory infection ever again our whole remaining life, but that ain’t how it works. Not yet anyway.
You know the numbers are garbage—the vast majority of “breakthrough” cases will have no noticeable symptoms—though they could still spread the disease to others.
“COVID-19 is a whore.”
That’s not the only whore in this deal.
Quarantining for 10 days. Guess what...All Senate votes have to be in person. Was he sabotaged??
“Do we see similar breakthrough smallpox? Or breakthrough Polio?”
Not anymore because those viruses are not around anymore (some cases of polio show up I’ve heard).
But yes, there were “breakthrough” cases where someone who got the polio vaccine still got polio. Everything is bell curves.
Smallpox has been eradicated so that people don’t even get vaccinated for it anymore.
Your question about Graham us a good one, though.
U.S. Thus really a “breakthrough” or does he actually have a cold or flu and there happens to be enough background Covid virus to test positive but it’s not doing anything to him.
My guess would be it’s a flu or cold.
And you know that how, Lindsay?
Do you get paid by the word, or do you get a flat rate for your endless, worthless propaganda?
the vaccines will cause positive tests for antibodies-
[[At what point are they no longer considered “break-through”? ]]
At some point, the ‘breakthroughs’ will be those who get the vaccine, but don’t get the virus lol

In some cases, one can be considered fully vaccinated after 3 doses. It just gets more complicated (mostly that’s for adults who didn’t get vaccinated as children).
Schedule for polio vaccination is here: https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/vpd/polio/public/index.html
So how many other people did you infect before your test results Lindsey?
