In Houston, I see some people masked and others not. No body bothers anybody else. Stores can “recommended” but not enforce masked.
If they “recommend” it, that’s fine. I have always thought that businesses should tell people who want to wear masks that they’re perfectly free to do so.
The problem is that “recommend” becomes “require” very quickly.
People have got to stick to a moderate message, where it’s okay if scared people wear (useless) masks, it’s okay if others don’t, it’s okay if some are vaccinated, it’s their risk if others aren’t, etc.
As far as the vaccines go, they’re about as effective, ineffective, or dangerous as any vaccine, regardless of technique. So that should be an individual decision too.
