If they “recommend” it, that’s fine. I have always thought that businesses should tell people who want to wear masks that they’re perfectly free to do so.
The problem is that “recommend” becomes “require” very quickly.
People have got to stick to a moderate message, where it’s okay if scared people wear (useless) masks, it’s okay if others don’t, it’s okay if some are vaccinated, it’s their risk if others aren’t, etc.
As far as the vaccines go, they’re about as effective, ineffective, or dangerous as any vaccine, regardless of technique. So that should be an individual decision too.

A good sign to post outside the restraint would be
it’s okay if scared people want to wear (useless) masks, we won’t stop you, but Wil, ask that you to read a short write up in medical journals that prove that masks won’t stop the virus, and may very well make matters worse. Especially given that people don’t even wear them correctly or handle them correctly after they get contaminated on the outside of the masks with virus particles
