The star was working on his film Treasure Valley in Idaho. He was the star and had also written and was producing the Western film that was scheduled to be released in 2022.

Travis Mills, who was also acting in the film, said on Facebook it seemed the star had a heart attack.

'Jay Pickett, our leading man, writer, producer, and creator of this movie passed away suddenly while we were on location preparing to film a scene.

'There is no official explanation for the cause of his death but it appears to have been a heart attack. Everyone present tried as hard as they could to keep him alive. Our hearts are broken and we grieve for his family who are so devastated by this shocking tragedy.'

“Perhaps history of coronary artery disease led to a myocardial infarction (heart attack) and ventricular fibrillation with the immediate cause being an occlusive coronary thrombosis in the left anterior descending artery resulting from a ruptured cholesterol plaque”

You know you really shouldn’t be so vague about these things...

“leading man, writer, producer, and creator of this movie passed away suddenly...”

At least he was pursuing his dream and went quickly. Must comprehensively suck to be an investor, cast or crew member, etc. in this production.

He looks very fit to me. Not at all too thin. I think we're just used to seeing overweight people in America and bulkiness becomes the norm. The eyes, though? Can't tell. Photos can be deceiving. But he looks trim and good for a 60 year old.

There are several different kinds of heart attack, and the “instant death”, dead-before-you-hit-the-ground is one of them.

Years ago, a huge survey of doctors and nurses pinpointed a way to prevent *most* of this type of heart attack, by taking a once a week Omega-3 fish oil supplement or serving of the right kind of fish. At the time it was a statistical home run type of discovery. Very obvious, taking all other variables into account and with a huge and reliable sample survey.

Importantly, taking more than the once a week fish oil changed nothing. And importantly, it only had a profound effect on this *one kind* of heart attack. And this mattered.

Much of the criticism of taking Omega-3 came from three directions: first, that of the Omega oils, only Omega-3 helped. Second, that it only helped that one kind of heart attack. And third, that taking too much in excess of once a week could actually cause other problems.

And some of the critics reached the point of advising people to not take it at all.

Uh-huh.

The LAD, the widowmaker.

Better than admitting the possibility it could’ve been the jab.

Better for Faux-Xi, GatesofHell, Sore-Ass, Pfaker, MUDerna, Johnson&Jaxoff, ZuckerBorg, Twatter, Faecesbook, and the Dems, that is.

Disregard the “keyboard doctors” who use a death to snarkily suggest it was due to a vaccination.

I rode rough stock when I was younger. The bulls tried their best to stomp me into the ground.

I will confess to the exact opposite - I was a complete greenhorn at the time, who knew next to nothing about horses (& absolutely nothin' about bull riding). But due to a strange set of circumstances, I actually got paid while being on horseback (how about that?). It took another twenty-plus years before I learned enough to be useful around horses (pickin' stalls ;>)...

They were talking to him one minute (about the scene) the next minute he wasn’t responding to them!

The production is now shut down indefinitely.

Come on.

When Trump was president, if you had a death during motorcycle accident it was Covid.

Many years ago my doctor told me to take the maximum dosage of Fish Oil.   T take between 4800 to 5000 mg a day.
