What will be the final straw that brings on the chaos? And when? The signs are pretty strong.
Internet attack as Biden predicted?
Cryptocurrency crash?
Immigration invasion?
Government shutdown as debt ceiling is hit again?
Iran/Russia attacking Israel?
Another severe Covid pandemic?
The Audit results being delivered for Arizona/Georgia/Pennsylvania?
The inflation caused by the $3.5 Trillion Social Infrastructure bill. (or bankruptcy)
A stock market crash?
An assassination attempt against Trump?
Food shortages from world crop failures?
China attacking Taiwan?
China shutting off shipments of manufactured goods to USA?
Electric grid or internet crash?
It appears that the Ides of August will be interesting.
Democrats are bullies - none of their force tactics are working. Each time they try to grind their boots into our faces - we dig in deeper and fight back. Democrats/commies/thugs/criminals can't use reason or logic.
Democrat/commies are classic two-trick ponies - -- their two 'tricks' are totalitarian bulling and pity-party victim hood. We're NOT falling for it anymore...
But on the smaller details?
Yeah, they win a battler here - a battle there - but we're slowly winning the war. Of course it's not over - they'll keep ramping up the pressure - bullies always do. They'[ll ramp up the lies too - and their toadies in the press will lick their butts - but we're still here and we're still fighting back.
You either believe God’s Word or you don’t.
He pulled Enoch out of harms way.
He took Noah and his family to safety.
Lot and his daughters rescued.
Daniel, Shadrach,Meshach, and Abednego were all spared.
Jesus - multiple times.
Paul same.
Peter same.
The remnant Church at the end of the age will taste this rescue as well and nothing that happens after that moment will ever be the same again.
No amount of arguments will ever convince naysayers of what God’s Word says. God’s Word will be fulfilled.
Whenever the Rapture happens, that will be the hammer that starts the real SHTF scenario,
We get closer to it with each passing day.
My feeling, you need to get some rest.
I want you to remember something though, the Jews were carried away to Assyria while those in Judah remained. Those in Assyria became slaves and were scattered around the world and no one knows where they went. The remaining judgment upon Judah, was specified to be those who were being rescued versus those who chose to fight. The Jews were told to submit to the rule of the Babylonians in judgment against the nation of Israel, and those who stayed and fought we’re going to be killed by the sword. The Christian world right now is in such a situation of great apostasy and apathy that I just cannot see countries that are majority professing Christians will escape judgment before the Rapture. I do not mean that the tribulation will have a Rapture in the middle of it, I mean that supposedly God-fearing Nation will face a reckoning for their apostasy before the Rapture and the tribulation occurs. I just cannot see the inited states not getting a spanking before the Rapture. There is no way our nation or this generation of Christians genuinely deserves to be saved from the coming rap. We are ripe for judgement in that we are allowing the sodomites to teach our children and that we are persecuted if we stand against that sexual perversion.
When the electricity, water, and gas stops being delivered and food is nowhere to be found, the sheep might have their “oh crap” moment.
I imagine entire neighborhoods laid to ashes in such scenarios.
Bodies everywhere.
Y’all better get right with Jesus Christ soon, it could happen this year.
True Christians aren’t the cause of today’s problems. God promised that the gates of hell would not overcome The Church. Life must continue on “as normal” or like the days of Noah and Lot up to the time of the Rapture.
Eating, drinking, buying, selling, marrying etc.
It will catch everyone napping. Even true Christians.
I’ll get flamed for saying this, but what type of Christian would rather live their life out than to be with their King and Redeemer?
Folks who prefer the former might not like the latter - not sarcasm either.
My point is to ask all True Believers this right now, what are you doing the spread the gospel today and what have you done this week? So many people are busy with their jobs and their families that they’re not out evangelizing. I am medically retired now and I spend my days downtown handing out gospel tracts and trying to convert the homeless. I honestly don’t see any other churches out there in any numbers at anytime. We have people who go out street preaching on the weekends and there’s at least two other people handing out tracks on the weekends and during the week I’m the only one. But I live in an area that has maybe fifty to seventy-five Baptist churches in my county and I only see one or two other churches out here on any regular basis. My church likes to go door-to-door with a lot of people so I’m not saying that we’re not doing anything but when it comes to handing out gospel tracts, the simplest thing, the Baptist churches are absent. The Catholic church is never did this and the mainstream Protestant churches haven’t done it for a hundred and thirty years. The number of people actually out preaching the gospel to the lost in a world that’s falling apart from sin is the issue. It’s just not happening in the numbers that any other generation would have seen.
Some of us do what we can. I post salvation and end times articles fairly often here and get flamed and trolled by haters and Christ deniers routinely.
Jesus said the lost will have no love in their hearts when the time is near (Matt 24:12) and that most people would rather follow heretics and apostates than Biblical teaching (2 Timothy 4:3).
So I believe we’re close and that most who will hear, already probably have answered that call. Post Rapture a multitude will set in via massive remorse but it’s gonna cost them their lives.
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17,
“…then we who are alive, who are left, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air;…”
1st, this IS the Second Coming of Christ, which clearly follows the Tribulation, and not an event preceding or interrupting the Tribulation.
2nd, it is very public and audible, rather than secret or hidden from those not “raptured”.
Matthew 24:37-42, “As were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of man.”
“…Then two men will be in the field; one is taken and one is left. Two women will be grinding at the mill; one is taken and one is left. Watch therefore, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming.”
Christ seems to be referring to the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70, as he warned “…this generation will not pass away till all these things take place”.
Also, notice the people taken away in Noah’s time were the unrighteous, not the righteous, which is the opposite of rapture theory.
In Matthew 24:13 Christ promises “…the one who endures to the end will be saved”. This includes Christians who will endure the Tribulation.
1 Corinthians 15:51-52, “Lo! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.”
This also refers to the Second Coming of Christ, in that “the twinkling of an eye” refers to the instantaneous change from a mortal body to a glorified body, NOT to the speed of the rapture. Its connection to the blast of the “last trumpet”, heralds Christ’s Second Coming. The Catholic Church has consistently interpreted this passage as such for the last 2000 years.
The Catholic Church rejects the rapture theory for good reason.
It is unbiblical and completely alien to the historic Christian tradition surrounding the Second Coming of Christ. Remember that Christ said he would return on “the last day”, to judge the living and the dead. There will be no secret or hidden coming in the meantime.
If you are alive when the Lord returns, you’ll definitely know about it.
Well if you are Catholic then this is why we disagree with a massive unbridgeable gulf.
Catholics either adhere to amillennialism or preterist theory. Both of which the math and facts don’t coincide.
Secondly, who is Christ’s audience in Matthew 24?
Jews or Christians? Or both with separate verses aimed at each?
In other words, Jesus was perhaps talking to both and going back and forth.
Believing Jews would indeed have to endure to the end - that doesn’t mean being tortured before dying either.
I had a ministry for a few years, but it didn’t feel right.
People were focused on themselves as being in control. I’m setting back and will come out of my shell again and minister when people are in despair and hungry for the Word.
Like I said in post 163, the point isn’t to convince naysayers who are not persuadable. The issue is to have a civil discussion so that both sides have an opportunity to reach the persuadable.
I don’t think competence has anything to do with it.
Capacity to engage in violence and the willingness to do it are really the only two factors that will matter for a long long time.
The US govt. has both.
I have a fishing tournament on 8/14/21 so it better wait until after that.
EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
exactly
Im not really worried about convincing anybody bro.
But you would be surprised how many the Holy Spirit has awakened with a few verses of scripture considering the times we love in.
I think you and I are saying the same thing.
What I don’t understand is your criteria for opening threads and/or pinging the end times ping list.

“The issue is to have a civil discussion so that both sides have an opportunity to reach the persuadable.”
This is why I opened this thread with a question. I am interested in hearing the many different perspectives. There have been a lot of very good constructive comments on this thread, and a few very humorous ones that are valuable too.
Hopefully this has served two purposes...
1. To see the bigger picture
2. To get people thinking about it.
