This is why I opened this thread with a question. I am interested in hearing the many different perspectives. There have been a lot of very good constructive comments on this thread, and a few very humorous ones that are valuable too.
Hopefully this has served two purposes...
1. To see the bigger picture
2. To get people thinking about it.
The problem when religion enters into it is that people go irrational. That’s why there are different rulez for the religious topics, a religion moderator, & all that.
What you’re seeing is that both sides of the discussion prefer not to open a thread under those guidelines so they can throw zingers at each other rather than enlighten the lurkers.
