A mother has revealed her son’s last words as he succumbed to coronavirus.
Curt Carpenter, 28, believed the pandemic was not real and his entire family was hesitant about getting vaccinated.
That was until Curt, his younger sister Cayla, and mother Christy all contracted the virus in early March.
Initially their symptoms were mild, but their oxygen levels dropped and both Curt and Christy were admitted to hospital in Birmingham, Alabama, where they developed pneumonia.
Curt’s lung collapsed, his oxygen levels fluctuated and his organs began shutting down before he died on May 2.
Nearly three months on, Christy has spoken about her son’s death, revealing that his final words were: ‘This is not a hoax; this is real’.
She told the Washington Post that they were nervous about the vaccine because it was created so quickly.
She said: ‘It took watching my son die and me suffering the effects of Covid for us to realize we need the vaccine. ‘We did not get vaccinated when we had the opportunity and regret that so much now.’

It is interesting that once you see their lexicon a few times, it is unmistakable.
Back in the day before they realized how stupid it made them look to everyone else in the world, the Communist Chinese used to use some iteration of the phrase "...running dog imperialist lackeys..." and everyone in the world easily saw it as an identifier of pure communist propaganda.
We can see the same thing here with "This is not a hoax; this is real" or some variant.
No sane person believes the virus is a hoax. But the reaction to it and utilization of it by the government and various people is indeed a hoax.
People who are against vaccinations, masks, quarantines, shutdowns, massive government spending to combat it fall into three general categories, IMO:
If this were something like Smallpox of Bubonic Plague which could kill 40-50% of those it infected, this conversation would be a moot point because people would willingly accept it or even clamor for it, even for a dangerous vaccine that killed or injured a significant number who took it, and these same people would also probably willingly wear masks and quarantine if Covid was indeed that deadly.
But it is not that deadly. Not with a virus that kills roughly 2% of the people it infects overall (and even THIS figure is rightly disputed due to the variables and uncertainty of both the people succumbing to it (numerator) and the total number infected (denominator) make that number suspect) and is in actuality, highly weighted (in that grouping of deaths) towards infected people with co-morbidity issues that this level of lethality does not warrant the measures taken by government.
Personally, I am split between the second group (lethality does not warrant the measures taken) and the third group which sees this as a personal freedom/Constitutional issue, but am more heavily weighted towards the Constitutional issue of illegally punishing and reducing personal freedom of those who have objections to anti-Covid measures by restricting their travel, their ability to earn a living, and their freedom of association.
You have just engaged in a Risk Analysis, a standard risk vs. benefit analysis.
This is something that should have been done by our government and medical personnel with clear eyes and an objective point of view, but never was.
This infantile thing that has affected our society, this need for personal safety above all other things with that safety guaranteed and administered by government instead of individuals with freedom to choose, is one of the great un-discussed disasters of the last half century in the United States.

Articles never say if they were taking any treatment. So assume they were not given meds which would have cured them.
Me as well recently a few weeks ago he(brett baer FNC) once again claimed there was no evidence of election fraud, No telling what he gets paid every time he makes up crap like that.
He’s(brett baer) particularly dangerous since he appears to have the support of his mentor Britt Hume and he says stuff with such matter of fact demeanor as if it’s true.
Truth is we cant take anything they say for granted any more we have to fact check it all from our sources.

Neighbor across the street was out cutting his grass this morning. Another neighbor asked where he’d been because they hadn’t seen him for a week. He said he’d caught the COVID and was staying in the house after visiting the doc. He said it was probably the Delta variant (even though he had no clue WHAT it was without doing Whole Genome Sequencing). AND... he was vaxxed.
I stayed the Hell away from him since he’s now a Super Spreader.
