Yep! We don’t mind them too much as they keep rats, but they also steal my eggs so kind of a catch-22. I leave the ones in the barn alone but they do give me a start.

I haven’t seen ANY pictures or videos of children or many women be evacuated.
Mostly young men are getting out.

Well, they would probably bite if cornered, but they are non-venomous. This one kind of moseyed off after I uncovered him. He was curled up between two hay bales

#AFG Kabul’s famous ice cream carts started playing their loud music again this morning. In the last 20 years they were often misused for IEDs, suicide attacks in Deh Mazang, or as a front for Taliban surveillance. But today, just ice cream.

I’ve been wondering where he landed. I had seen one report he was in Oman (which could have been temporary).
Guess they had to find a country that was strong enough to fight off the Taliban.
