We spent $2T(?) and 20 years “rebuilding” Afghanistan & “training” their army. And we can’t even get out before the Taliban are overrunning the country. Where did all that money go & WTH were we really doing over there?

I have to agree. Maybe not about the exploding part :-) but those things can barely move they are so fat. They wouldn’t be able to get away from predators. I can’t see them climbing up trees very fast.
How about shipping them back to McAllen?
Otherwise, ship them all to Austin and drop them off at the front door of the Governor’s mansion.
But the homeless and illegals are exempted. They don’t have to follow any laws.

I hate raccoons. They used to slice open our chickens, and not even eat them. Just ripped them right up the middle for no reason. We caught a couple in cages, and they are really nasty, ugly animals. Good for fur.

The gentleman in question is in New Brunswick Canada (I thought he was a good ol’ Southern boy LOL) and the reason he feeds as much as he does and that they’re so fat is because they’re about to enter torpor for winter. Raccoons don’t hibernate but it’s close. So they need to be fat to survive the winter. Like a bear.
Also, I read that he has them treated for rabies, parasites, and other bad things so they stay healthy. He’s a former Mountie and he’s been feeding them for around 20 years.

Got cotton back from the vet, he said she is very healthy for a 16 year old. No kidney disease or anything. He said her eyes are actually healthy, corneas and pressures and blood vessels in the back of the eye I’ll look good. He thinks she can see shadows and its just age-related. He said with cats there’s not that much that they can use to interpret how much they can see. But I would think loss of vision has to be due to something. But none of the Vets seem to know. I’m sure I could take her to the ophthalmologist in Asheville, but she’s not one I would want in the car for 3 hours. Roy was special, I actually enjoyed our trips together.
Dominion will have destroyed anything and everything that is incriminating. Oooops. We accidentally destroyed that evidence. It didn’t work for Nixon, but it will work for Dominion, I suspect.
