Can we put the State's Name in our Posts Titles? Just Asking

As a long time member here, I am asking; wouldn't it be better to put the City/State in Parentheses at the end of the title when we all post?

ie: Shooting leaves 4 dead over the weekend (Detroit, MI)

Just a thought, as it would make it easier to know where it happened without having to go to the link for that info only.

Parentheses (or better yet, brackets "[]") do not violate copyright or mess up searches. That's why we have barf alerts. Earlier today I saw an article about a story that took place in "Monroe". The one I knew of is in CT, but this one was in NC.

You can add it to the title in brackets, ie., [MI] and include the city if it matters.

If you put your state initials in the KEYWORDS BOX the state automatically shows up there. Then you can do a search for any state and all those articles will come up.

I am from NJ and I just read an article about something happening in Union County. Well, my town is on the border of Middlesex and Union County’s in NJ but this wasn’t in NJ, I can’t remember where, but I had to click on the link and read into the article to find out what State it was.
