In all the Democrat firearmsphobia, there has been a consistent “anything semi-aautomatic related is bad, whether the firearm, accoutrements for the firearm, or caliber munitions for the firearm.”
Notice what they have left alone: “wheelguns, lever action rifles-to include rolling block since lever-operated-, and break open shotguns.”
I do not include bolt action rifles, because they have earned Democratic scrutiny.

It would be interesting if a journalist (ya, I know-real journalists are rarer than unicorns), but let’s say if there were any journalists, if one would interview some recent first time gun buyers, and get their views on gun control and find out if owning a firearm changed their opinion.
