What do you call "Gain of Function" research funded through an NGO, other than being indirectly funding the research ?
Furthermore, the NIH/Faucci did so that it would evade governmental health agency supervision .
To be clear, Rand Paul said that Faucci behavior was obfuscating the truth about the research.

Mister Fauci said (not long after the news about the many needless and horrible deaths in NY nursing homes came to light) that (paraphrasing, but close)...
"New York did it correctly."
Might the good people of New York who lost family members in NY care homes resent much of Mister Fauci's questionable public health observations and advice?
