A 35-year-old man was shot to death following a “heated” dispute over loud music at his Valley Glen apartment building over the weekend, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting around 2:40 a.m. in the 6800 block of Coldwater Canyon Avenue and found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds, according to an LAPD news release.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Police identified him as Eduard Avetisyan.
During the investigation, detectives learned that the shooting transpired after what they described as a “heated neighbor dispute over loud music,” the release stated.

Armenians be hot blooded?
More cow bell?
Some peeps just can’t live in a Civil Society.
I’m guessing it wasn’t classical music.
Alcohol + poor choices = 10 years in Prison
Loud music blaring at 2:40AM.
“Not Guilty”.
Must have been System Of A Down.
Three black kids frequently came to visit my neighbor’s two white kids. They played the “music” so loud I could literally feel it in my prostate. They seemed nice. They dressed well (for kids.) They drove expensive cars. When I asked them to turn it down, they did. All three ended up in prison for murder before they graduated. Another black man “dissed” one of them while the kid was collecting from a drug deal. He took out his gun and shot the man to death. All three went to prison. Their reason was, as reported in the paper, “He dissed me man. I had to kill him.” My neighbors white boys nodded their heads and said, “Yep. He was dissed. He had to kill him.”
Not guilty.
Armenian Gun Violence still isn’t as bad as Black Gun Violence.
At least there weren’t any Kardashian’s involved.
Sounds like a Russian vs an Armenian.
Yes, except in this case it was the guy complaining who got shot.
I remember a similar incident in Tulsa years ago. We were two blocks away and someone was playing a radio LOUD after midnight.
The police were called and so we did not have to get involved.
Interesting how some people cannot comprehend that their music or TV is too loud and keeping people blocks away awake.
I didn’t read it that way.
You know what? You are correct.
Time for me to fix another pot of coffee.
I lived in Hollywood many years ago. One night the the neighbors (Armenians) started having a loud party at 2AM. I went over and asked then to keep it down. I went back to my apt and a few minutes later a few drunks were at my widow taunting us. I sat there with my 12 ga until they left after a few minutes. I guess those Armenians are serious about their music.
So glad I left LA 40 years ago. What a hole. Huge pockets of foreign people who bring their degraded societies here. Make sure you don’t drive down the wrong street.
The story doesn’t mention which idiot was playing the music. The usual terrible, terrible journalism I’ve come to expect. Are there no editors? I guess not. The editors are just as semi-literate and mentally defective as the
biased/activist/reporters.
Gunshots are loud too, but only for an instant.
