How about we protest buying their bags of air with some chips thrown in. Nice, colorful packaging however.

The extra air keeps the chips from being crushed as they pack the bags into boxes and onto trucks.

But that still doesn't explain the collusion between the hot dog makers never packing the same number of weiners as a pack of hot dog buns. We're not "a bunch of trusting nitwits" who are gonna play their game anymore! LOL

Always look for bags with lots of air. Fewer crushed chips. The chips are packed by weight. Depending on the destination, if there is too much air in the bag, they will burst going over mountain passes or to high altitudes.

I worked as a Frito Lay production supervisor for about 15 months 40 years ago. They don’t give a shit about their employees. They would shut down for Christmas, maybe for a shift on Thanksgiving. Easter, they didn’t give a shit about that.

True, but the weight of the chips is printed on the bag, so it’s not like you’re kidding.

Besides, Lays makes the best potato chips and corn chips.

I haven’t purchased Lay’s in can’t remember when. Store brand is cheaper and I dumped them back when I realized a potato costs 20 cents. One or two potatoes weigh the same as a bag of chips.

Save yourself $3 and don’t contribute to lefties by frying up your own potato chips.

Want BBQ or sour cream and onion or whatever flavored chips? There are countless powder recipes online using spices you probably already have on hand.

Want Doritos? Fry or bake corn tortillas at 4 cents/oz plus spice mix cost vs Doritos at 27 cents/oz.
