I remember when I was a kid, cruises looked so glamorous (I blame Love Boat) and then I finally went on one and hated every freakin’ germ riddled trashy second of it.

Seriously, what is the name for the psychological problem that compels members of Free Republic to chime in with negative comments whenever there is a post about cruising?
Of course it will be appealed. This is so blatantly wrong. How can one stupid agency which never had the power given to them based on weak science regulate an entire industry?

You can buy a sailboat for ~$1,000? My wife and I sailed through the Panama Canal for $1,400. That won’t buy much of a sailboat. If you don’t like cruises, don’t ever go on another. But why state blatant falsehoods to make your case?

What does the CDC and the cruise lines propose to do with folks that have already had Covid and not have been vaccinated?
For Carnival they have to request an exemption and try to be part of the 5% unvaccinated ...The CDC doesnt regard them as immune...
If they can prove they were diagnosed and hospitalized with Covid and can prove it, they maybe OK, otherwise they would be treated as unvaccinated deplorables. - Tom
