Here's the problem with communism (and sometimes socialism). If you study these subjects, you will encounter lots of abstract theories about how best to organize society, money, property, and so on. Some ideas might sound appealing. But they have little to do with communism as this ideology has existed in the real world.

Better to think of these theories as maps and guidebooks for people who want to rule others. Communism appeals to dead souls hungry for power. These are not normal, healthy people. When they finally seize power, everyone else becomes a victim, even as never-ending propaganda promises the perfect society.

The last people you want in control of your life are control freaks eager to be your masters. They think it's natural they should dictate your activities. The word slave does not appear in the contract, but that is your job in their world.

Everyone should reflect on the bloody history of socialism and communism....,

Nonsense. Take any statistically normal, healthy person and make them a dictator. I’d love to see just how many would willingly give up the power, especially if the society was actually flourish under their rule.

I disagree with the premise in the title. Throughout a life and career, I have found that a significant percentage of people actually do indeed “want to be dictators”. Unless the author wants to argue that this large number of people are all “unhealthy”, I would say it’s simply a common trait of a significant number of people.

Who are these people? I have seen teachers, administrators, bosses, bureaucrats, police, store clerks, politicians, and more, who all want to dictate without argument the choices of people they deal with.

To me, the issue becomes how to best deal with such control freaks, not to call them sick and attempt to avoid them.

The psychological field was highjacked by leftists as a means of pushing Communism on the US way back in the 50’s.
Their first attempt at forcing communism on us came in the form of the “poverty is the cause of violence” lie. Like that line from the musical “West Side Story says: “Hey! I’m depraved ona count of I’m deprived!”
Of all the medical fields being accused of keeping people sick to make money, psychology is keeping people mentally ill to force communism as the solution. We should have a much deeper understanding of what causes schizophrenia, personality disorders, and homosexuality by now, but those who should be researching are too busy pushing the lie that transgender and homosexuality are normal.
