This should be pretty quick if mostly delta as it is more transmissible and faster.
The CDC is ignoring naturally acquired immunity in order to push all to get 'vaccinated'. The rise in Covid among the vaccinated is actually harm caused by the vaccine being passed off as 'variants'. Having another shot will only sicken and kill more people.
Those who have had Covid, or other related Corona viruses (most of us have done so) are immune, despite what the CDC says.
Dr. Yeadon, former Chief Science Officer for Pfizer’s Allergy and Infectious Diseases division, said that a researcher located those who’d had SARS1 in 2003 and tested them this year, with that original SARS1 virus. Those people were still immune, after 17 years.
The researcher then tested those people with SARS2 (Covid). Those people were immune. There is ‘only’ a 22% difference in the genomes between Sars1 and Sars2 and so immunity held.
But note those ill in 2003 did not maintain active antibodies for 17 years. Their immune sytem hibernated those (my words) antibodies until it recognized the pathogen from years ago and began producing antibodies.
There are two wings to the immune system and Big Pharma is focusing on ‘active antibodies’ as if that is an accurate indicator of immunity. It actually means ‘activated immunity’, when you may have immunity but haven’t been exposed in so long you don’t have the antibodies.
Dr. Yeadon says the ‘variants’ are no more than 1% or 2% different from Covid and those who’ve had Covid will be immune to the variants.
The Deep State just wants a repeat performance, They want to put us through the lockdowns and panic as if it never happened before; they like the way we obeyed and want to see it again.
There's no need to experiment on yourself with these 'vaccines' when so many safe, effective medication protocols are available.

From what I've read this is much more contagious so we should be done with this wave in a month or so. It does not seem to be deadlier so that's a good thing.
It could be that there are not many easy targets remaining so the death rate is relatively low compared to the previous waves.
You are correct, the speed of transmission, with the already immune from vaccination and wild type disease should see this being the shortest wave. And given that it is more transmissible it should complete the Horney to herd immunity. It looks more and more like the triple wave of Spanish flu in 1917.

I expect you are right. The trend is up, but the numbers are still quite small. There should be enough immunity among the vulnerable to prevent anything remotely like this past winter.

It took about a month for death surge to decline last year, before any vaccines were out. Things are matching up nearly to the day, certainly to the week.
Come October/November, explosion. There are simply too many virus particles globally to expect the variants to stop. Doesn’t matter what measures are taken in the US.
Well, in that case, we'll just have to take vaccines and live with the virus. Australia and Canada are trying to eliminate the virus in their countries. Good luck.
