Detained and put on a “body attachment”. This is an effective, if somewhat cumbersome method of assuring the designated person WILL comply with assigned duties in connection with the demands of a duly elected or appointed office, or of an appropriate court proceeding.
Draconian, but used on occasion in the past, in accordance with old English law. There were once some rather recalcitrant members of Parliament who had to be brought in, and it was often used to assure that the accused criminal was brought before the King’s Bench.
Today a writ of body attachment is used in preference to physically attaching a manacle between the designated person and an officer of the law.

And sue them for the expenses- plane ride, arrest, mileage, everything- stick it to them personally instead of making the taxpayers fund those bastards.

Arrest them, hold a hearing in the Legislature, and expel them.

They crossed state lines to evade arrest. Have a Federal Marshall pick them up.
This was obvious and we could all see it coming a mile away.
My solution would have been to secretly have the Texas Rangers or other cops surround the capital building and block all the exits. Then hold a snap vote on the bill when the Democrats were present. They could hoot and holler and yell and scream all they like about it - but they would be present and thus there would be a quorum, thus the vote would be binding. Two can play hardball.

Dumbasses! Election and voter integrity laws only suppress election and voter fraud, not the voting itself. Please make a note of it, and from now on, if you f*ck up your ballot or don’t even show up at the polls or don’t have the required ID, you might have to kiss your “vote” goodbye. Get used to it because if you’re legally registered to vote, you’re an adult and it’s your responsibility to get it right the first time. The “one person, one vote” approach to our elections has always been technically incorrect (against the law), but damned if they don’t just go ahead and do that and much more anyway, but not without both remote and direct foreign and domestic enemy alliances’ critical assistance in creating the illusion that “JoeBiden” was elected POTUS on 03NOV2020.
I hope he does this.
Not exactly clear on the specific charges the governor has in mind but it sure would be a nice gesture under the circumstances. And it could maybe stop these damned D political buffoons from sabotaging the very state government they swore thrust oaths of office to support and serve.
Not just arrested. Throw then into jail with 24 hour lockdown and hold up their trial for 10 years. Then give them another 50 years after trial.
