On July 11 (Local Time), the Riot Police of England had to react swiftly on the West End of the capital after thousands of angry fans started to create ruckus on the streets as England lost Euro 2020 Finale. The fans from England were agitated right before the match itself as many of them tried to enter the fan zone in Trafalgar Square without tickets.
Riot Police descended on Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square after the match as hundreds of football fans were reportedly seen climbing onto street lamps and setting off flares. In the finale, England lost the final to Italy on penalties.
In a statement, Metropolitan Police said, “We have made 45 arrests while policing today’s Euro2020 final. A number of officers remain on duty, helping fans leaving Wembley or central London. We are there to look out for your safety.” However, they did not confirm any reports of stabbings that had been making rounds on the social media platforms suggesting they might be fake information.
Barkenham and Dagenham Police had replied to news agencies informing them that the reports of stabbing were incorrect. They said, “This information is incorrect. We were called at 18:31hrs to reports of a group of people fighting in the area. Officers attended. No injuries were reported.”
During the rampage, dozens of fans were seen trampling down the security cordon at the Club Wembley entrance. The stewards and riot police had to chase them down to ensure no ticketless fan enter the stadium. However, the crowd was too large to handle, and hundreds of fans manage to enter the stadium that stunned the security guards. Some fans were seen throwing punches as the guards.

And you can’t tell me Southgate had those three be the last kickers, he wanted that image of a black player winning it.
Why would you put in a player at the last minute for the sole purpose of a penalty kick? It defies all logic.
There's a 130K stadium in India for cricket. And a 114K stadium in North Korea for soccer (the only 100K+ stadium in the world for soccer). Then #'s 3 through 10 in the world by capacity are in the U.S. and are for college football, with #11, the only other one above 100K, being in Australia for cricket and Australian rules football.
Think about it. In a world where supposedly soccer is the most popular sport, how come there's only one stadium in the entire world for soccer over 100k, while the U.S. alone has 8 stadiums at 100K for college football? Another thought: on a football Saturday many of those stadiums are full simultaneously (Bama fans filling Bryant-Denny while Aggies fans fill Kyle Field and Nittany Lions fans fill Happy Valley, etc., or however many of them have home games that Saturday).

The reason they don’t have 100K anymore is because of what happened in Hillsborough in 1989 when 96 were crushed to death. They totally changed the stadiums to all seaters, and of course just as in this country, new stadiums incorporate corporate boxes at the sacrifice of capacity.
Also consider that the city of London itself, has many professional soccer teams, five alone play in the Premier League. (Chelsea, Arsenal, West Ham, Tottenham, Crystal Palace, Brentford), with several others in the next-tier (Queens Park Rangers, Fulham, Millwall)
Most European big cities have several teams as well.

I did actually go to one game in London when I was there, it was Charlton Athletic, which was in the Championship (the level below the Premier League, at the time, they’ve since been relegated from there). But it was really cool, about a half mile walk from the train station, the stadium seats about 20,000, and it’s in the middle of a neighborhood. I think I’d rather go to those stadiums for games than say The Emirates or Old Trafford.
Even so, I doubt they burned down Pizza places and Italian restaurants while carrying “Italians are the Oppressors” signs.
Rush Limbaugh said that the most exciting part of a soccer game is the postgame riot by fans of the losing team.
Here’s the funny thing. You see English rugby fans of opposing teams sitting next to one another without any problems.
