The EU often uses “Europe” interchangeably with its own identity. They also use terms such as “superstate”, which is merely a neologism for “empire”.

If you don’t see a problem with Germany controlling a virtually monopolistic supply of natural gas to the continent, you need to brush up on your history. Never mind Trump’s reasoning with respect to NATO: the European partners insist that there is a danger from Russia, but yet they are playing hurry-up offense to consolidate a new gas pipeline from Russia to Germany in particular, thus increasing dependence and giving Germany more control over the continent.

Who is this “everybody” you speak of with respect to Ukraine and Poland? The implication seems to be the left-wing elite controlling the EU.

Where do you get your “information” from?

What stops the US from exporting to Europe? The left in the US does; in case you missed the news, Biden put a stop to a lot of fracking, never mind the Keystone XL pipeline. And the reasoning behind Nord Stream II is to shut the US out of the market.

Sorry, but no cigar.

Germany is a single biggest consumer, all the big terminals are in other countries.

No German pipeline constricts their operation, as long as the deliveries are competitive on price.

If Poland likes the American gas it is free to consume it for four times the price and share it with Ukraine.

Germany, France don’t want to pay tribute to deadbeats, they already paid East Europe too much through the EU racket.

The bigger problem is the deadbeat corrupt countries, believing they would be able to strangle a viable commercial project for political reasons and then become the power brokers themselves.

Do you really believe that Germany, France, Austria etc would entrust their energy policies to Poland and Ukraine?

With or without Trump the idea is plain silly.

Cheap abundant gas is the foundation of the competitive economy. They shouldn’t risk it for other people’s geopolitical gains.

As for Biden and Russia I don’t get your idea. Okay, Biden ruined fracking. What is the outcome for Europe? Of course they like NSII even more, and you know what they think about Ukraine and Poland.

You are welcome! Bottomline is that the United States need the gas at home in the first place. These games are plain silly.

More argumentum ad lapidem, as well as proof by assertion and outright bigotry this time (“deadbeats” who are not). Nothing has to do with price here, but control. The EU is not “capitalist” any more than Russia is; both are socialist (I read the Russian Federation’s current constitution and it has way too much in common with the old CPSU constitutions, never mind Germany’s Basic Law and the EU’s treaties that serve as its constitution).

And I see that you have no problem being openly hostile to Trump, while lauding Biden by extension by pushing the propaganda of those he helped.

What, may I ask, have you got in common with the ideals expressed on this forum? What brought you here?

BTW, if you want to talk actual deadbeats, try the NATO members who agreed to pay a certain percentage of GDP but refused. Germany among them.

Interesting way to put down Trump and elevate Biden.

Germany needs NATO like fish needs bycicle. Poland is a deadbeat because it receives hundreds of billion from Germany, while undermining its economy.
The rest on your part is a left-wing propaganda.

You seem to be a Germanophile because you are pushing their propaganda. Why is that?

I explained my points based on reason and logic. You fail to prove yours and resort to ‘racist’ argument.

I pointed out several instances you used logical fallacies and you want to claim you were logical now? 😅 Okay, you were just trolling me then. Have a nice day . . .

Biden is setting things up for Putin to take Afghanistan.
Just like he, Obama, and Hillary set him up for 8 long years. Ignore their bogus “tough talk” towards Russia. It is only meant to deceive the population.

Why are we still trying to run the world? Empire building embarrasses me as an American.
Did no one listen to George Washington?
Power always corrupts.

Oops. I think not. Looks like Russia would pretty much devour us if it came to that.

Nope, you just named the fallacies outside of context. I addressed loopholes in your reasoning and you never elaborated.

You weren’t factual, and you sidestepped valid queries of mine, in addition to using argumentum ad populum.

Come on, man; you can admit you wete trolling 😉
