Is he the pilot?
Who was the guy that did that balloon trip thing then disappeared?
Hope it goes well.

How many hungry children is this feeding?
Is he taking Obozo and Big Mike with him?
“It looks like it’s going to be a fun webcast.
Stephen Colbert, host of The Late Show on CBS, will host the webcast along with singer Khalid (who will debut a new single during the launch), former Canadian Space Agency astronaut Chris Hadfield and future Virgin Galactic astronaut Kellie Gerardi, who will launch on a research flight in 2022.”

Really? Maybe he’ll have the space gals go topless in zero g and shake them to Khalid’s song?
I miss watching space travel of the 1960’s, although Musk’s SpaceX has become exciting, especially landing the boosters.
According to liberals, won’t this cause more global warming?
Just like congress, the rich are always exempt.
Wake me up when they develop single stage to orbit. That is when we can send someone to another planet and bring them home safely.
The ship is flying under the rainbow sodomy flag.

Virgin’s own coverage - which I presumed was going to be the best - is being hosted by Stephen Colbert. Hard pass for me. I just can’t do it.
Wait, didn’t we did this in 1961?
Despite the hype, this flight will not come anywhere close to achieving orbital velocity.
It’s essentially an updated X-15: it will go up out of most of the atmosphere, experience a few minutes of zero G between engine cutoff and reentry, and then fly back down.
I’m surprised the occupants are wearing pressurized suits. Even U2 and SR-71 pilots wore flight suits.
This Virgin coverage is so cheesy, it feels like a low-budget sci-fi movie.
Gotta admit SpaceX’s coverage always feels way more professional, less commercial/retail.
SpaceX’s coverage is so much better.
And while all these guys are full of themselves, at least Musk largely keeps it to Twitter and media appearances and doesn’t require his people to talk about him like a god for the entire broadcast.
To this I give a “meh.” he road above 50 miles in an airplane, just like a couple of X-15 pilots did to get the ‘astronaut’ title. He did NOT go into space and orbit the earth.
