SKEPTICAL? I am atounded at the conceit. The Standard Binet test wasbegun in 1916. I might add that any study that ranks Biden as genius level should be summarily dismissed as bogus.

> The IQ test was invented after some of the presidents died. Not sure how they can identify IQ, particularly out to one decimal place ... <

They can’t. My suspicion is that they had some kind of panel. “Okay guys, let’s all now take a wild guess on Grover Cleveland’s IQ.”

Then they took the average of all the guesses.

What a load of bunk:

1. The IQ test wasn't even developed until the early 1900's and was not ubiquitous until much later;

2. Even if some of these presidents had taken the test, how would the scores have become available;

3. The notion of ranking people based on a tenth of a point difference is beyond ridiculous;

4. Scores can vary significantly every time someone takes the test; and

5. Joe Biden* wouldn't have broken 120 on his best day.

John Quincy Adams spoke Russian—the only president do so. I adminre any English-speaker who learns that language, which seems to have been deliberately designed to be so full of complexities, idioms and anomalies that no outsider can learn it. Herbert Hoover learned Mandarin Chinese, one of the toughest languages for an English-speaker to learn. Thomas Jefferson spoke French, German, Dutch and Spanish. And several presidents spoke Greek and Latin.

It’s obvious what they are trying to do here.

They assume Trump supporters are stupid.

So they think by cleverly throwing Trump in there with a super high score, that Trump supporters will automatically accept the study.

They think we will have to accept the general conclusion: that Republicans are stupid and Democrats are smart.

Nice try fake news.

When was the IQ tested? Methods of testing IQ are different when Washington was president compared to now. At what age? Joe Biden most certainly does not have 149 IQ currently.

Agree!

Not that I’m overly skeptical, but if TommyJeff can ace a test that wouldn’t even be invented for another hundred years, that’s pretty darn smart.

I tested in the 140s years ago, and when I see I’m in the company of Barack Obama, I call complete BS. That man couldn’t tie his shoe let alone complete a complex logic puzzle or higher order math problem. IQ is a relative measurement as well. It’s not indicative of overall intelligence, just the ability to score well on ranked order exams.

I have always held that there is a difference between smart and intelligent and knowledgeable. A college grad is knowledgeable, but not necessarily intelligent or smart (see AOC for an example). Someone that is intelligent understands how to apply the formulas of knowledge. This is where most scientists reside, although lately, we are seeing a lot who are willing to forego the formulas to attest to outcomes that could not be determined empirically (see Climate Change and just about any “science” related to COVID). Smart ... you can be without being knowledgeable or intelligent. Smart is the practical application of what knowledge you have to solve real world problems. As a interesting observation, when dating I noticed most “intelligent” women were liberals, whereas most “smart” women were conservatives.

Joe Biden - IQ 149

Okay, let me stop laughing first. Sigh, Joe Biden was always an idiot. Now he is in the throes of dementia, which makes people think that this is why he is an idiot. He started out as an idiot (people skills, but that's it), and now he is a demented idiot.

China-Joe-Ho could have that score only if he cheated or bribed someone. He has always been a crook and a moron. Always. In the prime of his life, at best, he was average so maybe 110. I’ve listened to him over the entirety of his career and he has always been an idiot and stupid as the day is long.

I don’t know how they came up with the decimal point, but John Quincy Adams might be close to correct, he was a true genius, his mother and father were also both exceptionally intelligent individuals.

These are false. John F. Kennedy’s IQ was 115.

John F. Kennedy’s IQ was 115.

That would be my guess.

When the "brilliant" Adlai Stevenson was running for president his college transcript was kept locked in a file cabinet in the office of the president of Harvard.

Silly. Measuring IQ to the tenth of a percent?

I didn’t like the way they kept the page jumping trying to get me to hit ad links I didn’t want.

Total BS numbers based on nothing, just click bait for the ads.
