When I was growing up, I seemed to have an idea they were relatively honest. Getting a Covid shot is going to protect me from having my roof blown off and having no access to food and clean water for a couple of weeks. We have some very insane rulers.

Growing up in Florida, I remember in June or when there threats, they recommended getting water, filling up the bath tub, getting some canned food, filling up the gas tank ... considering evacuating . . .

Makes sense to me. When the hurricane strikes, it will be even more difficult for emergency personnel to reach anyone who’s stroking out from the experimental treatment. If the bio-weapon doesn’t kill them, maybe the hurricane will.
