A member of the Fourteenth Regiment New-York Volunteers, Col. JACKSON, was shot to-day and mortally wounded. One of the men put down an empty musket in his tent, and in a short time picked up what he supposed was the same gun, but which proved to be loaded. In handling the latter, it was discharged.
