In a San Diego Seabees battalion, the powers that be apparently let it be known that everyone who could had better march under the gay flag.
When Winston Churchill was First Lord of the Admiralty and proposed some much-needed reforms, the pushback he received claimed the reforms ran afoul of Naval tradition. Churchill snapped back, “Naval tradition? Naval tradition? Monstrous. Nothing but rum, sodomy, prayers, and the lash.” More than 100 years later, it appears that the United States Navy is embracing that sodomy tradition. How else to explain that officers at a Naval Seabees unit allegedly forced everyone to attend a “Diversity Hike,” while waving a “stars and rainbow-stripes” flag as they went.

One goal of the left is to eliminate the military. They can’t do that just yet, so they turn the military into a joke, a promoter of unnatural lifestyles. Same as eliminating it altogether.

....absolutely....! this is NOT the U.S. Navy that I enlisted in back in the early 1960s.....this whole gay pride thing would have been simply unthinkable then....of course, we lived in a different time, but still....I wonder how many gay pride events the Chinese Navy or the Russian Navy sponsors....??? jus’ askin’ ......
Meanwhile the Chinese and Russian Navies continue to build up their muscle, not their perversions. War fighting and winning is their only goal, not even a thought of the US Navy apparently.
A breakup is looking better all the time. It’s clear we can’t live with these nut cases, and the GOP isn’t going to do anything to put a stop to it.

When I enlisted (1961) there was a form we had to fill out, which named what seemed to be every disease known to mankind and required us to check off yes or no. One of the items was HOMOSEXUAL TENDENCIES. Back then they still called an illness an illness.
