Potatoes tend to be a dieting no-no for people laying off of starchy foods and carbohydrates. In that same light, French fries often fall into the “junk food” category as eaters cover them in ketchup and salt. Now, a new study finds this popular vegetable may be getting a bum rap. Researchers from Purdue University say eating more potatoes can actually help keep blood pressure under control better than taking certain supplements.

Actually the baked french fries are really good. We tried some about six months ago, and have been buying them since. Thumbs up for the baked french fries.
Is the air fryer info for bagged frozen potatoes? Or thawed? Or fresh cut potatoes?
Thanks!
Frozen
I have been experimenting with raw potatoes and you don’t cook them at 400 I’m playing around with 350 at maybe 15 minutes but like I said I’m still fiddling with that.
YouTubers got a bunch of air fryer recipes, if you get a small air fryer that’s a two serving air fryer. The bigger ones are 4 and above servings.
Keep your servings suitable to the fryer size, because they won’t cook quite right so you have to be reasonable with your portions.
Simple is best! Also, there’s no bad garlic.
I eat so many potatoes all the time. My husband says I should have been Irish. lol
I cube potatoes and season with rosemary, garlic, onions, olive oil, butter and garlic and then bake. I don’t think that counts as french fries. I will continue to fry french fries.
No, the butter doesnt hurt you. Thats just another government lie. The margarine will block your arteries for sure. Butter from grassfed cattle contains K2 and will clean your arteries out.
Its important to keep you as sick as possible during your productive years to milk you of as much money as possible while working to kill you off as soon as possible so that you dont become a useless eater that drains the system.
I bake the pre fried fries to heat them up.😃
“I pretty much listen to my body.”
I listen to what I have a taste for...sort of the same thing.
I love me some taters.
Everything in moderation. Remember when butter was bad so margarine became the thing, only to find out butter was actually better? Remember when sugar was nixxed, and then we got into sacrhine, only to find sugar is better? Remember when we quit drinking water from the tap and bought bottled water, only to clog up the rivers and landfills with plastic. Sometimes we well-meaning folks just go overboard.
ok, now I’m hungry, guys.
Great last paragraph!
And if that doesn’t work, politicians like Cuomo will find alternate ways to kill you off so you can’t drain the system.
“There is no bad potato.”
100% true.
Thanks, FRiend. I for one ain’t buying this constant flow of “studies” that justify their funding by coming up with new or startling conclusions. The sad part is that the taxpayers are paying for a lot of this BS
Eggs were bad too. I never believed any of the food nazi stuff that has come out over the years.
If this were true, then I would have low BP.
In Asian countries, it’s rice instead of potatoes. Although chemically similar, a person has to have an Asian gut flora to handle it in quantity. Only 43% of cells in the human body are actually human, the rest Democrat freeloaders of the microbe world. Rice makes many Americans feel sick, while potatoes cause a rush of endorphins, possibly emitted by happy microbes training their host.
