It’s mind boggling how reluctant the US is to adjust dosage regimens and requirements based on age or prior infection. Part of the problem may not be the vaccines themselves but the excess dosage.

If even in the elderly, a single dose provides this much protection, how much more for the young?

Duh....how many Seniors died after the second dose. My 55 year old son in law was violently ill after the second shot.

Are you kidding? That's not the big picture at all. It's a miniscule gain in "immunity" for young people that have far less risk from the disease, not to mention all the risk from side effects including death, and the availability of effective alternative treatments.

Not worth it to take the non-FDA approved, experimental vaccine for them.
