PHILADELPHIA — Pennsylvania’s highest court overturned Bill Cosby’s sex assault conviction Wednesday after finding an agreement with a previous prosecutor prevented him from being charged in the case.
Cosby has served more than two years of a three- to 10-year sentence at a state prison near Philadelphia.

Like a Jubilee?
The introduction of drugs to incapacitate the victim completely invalidates your viewpoint. Furthermore at no point is it justified to force anything on another person regardless of whatever transpired beforehand.
I agree that all people, men and women both, need to take responsibility to keep themselves out of situations that put them at risk, be it unwanted sexual activity or other bad situations. If every female that every consented to making out at the prom had to engage in intercourse afterward based on the discretion of her date very few would graduate high school without getting knocked up.
Darn right. And considering the person accused, there is a high level of motivation existing to do just that. And considering Cosby has taking some fairly conservative, "anti-woke" positions in the past, he's doubly a prime target.
Forgot, there was also a recent incident where a woman was at a public party, livestreaming to Twitter, and some guy walks by and drops a pill in her drink without her noticing.
Rohypnol is odorless, tasteless, colorless and scentless.
Indeed.
No, it doesn't.
If the drugs were taken willfully, you are culpable of disconnecting your will from any actions that happen, whether they happen to you, or whether you are the actor. If you are unwittingly drugged, what was the situation? Did you go into someone's apartment lair who you knew wanted more from you than a casual relationship? Did he offer you a drink there? Why would you accept from such a person?
There are a LOT of decisions a "victim" makes leading up to the final crime. Don't discount that.
Getting a drink FROM WHOM?
Even the bartender these days. See my posts upthread - dropping a pill into a random woman’s drink is easy. A Rohypnol pill dissolves in the typical drink in under five seconds.
Especially see my number 29 above.
Here’s the video from my link at 29: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_uiD-PIgfXI
the caring and love in your post for victims is underwhelming....
you know there are people that say even if you were abducted off the street and forcibly raped they would question WHY WERE YOU ON THE STREET?
Are they any indications that the victims willingly took drugs to incapacitate themselves to the point of erasing their memory of events after ingestion. “Yeah sure, Cos, I’ll take that roofie while you whip out Fat Albert.”
I don’t understand why people think women should take responsibility to avoid situations where they might be raped but the guys don’t have to take responsibility for avoiding potential blackmail when offered the chance to get their rocks off.
Oooh! I played that game!
A party in the Playboy mansion in the confines of a bedroom...with a lead pipe!
that’s my older sister. She’s 85 and thinks if you never wear shorts/skirts/eat out/ leave your home, you’ll be safe from men.
when u do anything that puts you in contact with men- you are asking for it.
It was a very corrupt and political prosecution !
Five seconds is a very long time.
“Under” five seconds. Depends on the drink, the exact pill design, etc. There are some that can dissolve in less than a second when submerged in a margarita.
Yes dear. In the case in question, the woman willingly took the drugs.
Furthermore, she had already driven over to Cosby’s house for an intimate evening with him while his wife was not at home.
Furthermore, she could never narrow the date of the event down to less than a six month period !
Here claims are simply not credible.
