Thousands of flights cancelled as vaccinated pilots fall ill or die
Colorado Herald ^ | June 21, 2021 | Colorado Herald Staff

(Excerpt from halfway down): According to flightaware.com, 120,000 cancellations per year is the average for global flights. An average day would see 329 cancellations. A 2 day average would see 658 cancellations. But between Friday and Saturday, 3,533 cancellations occurred. That’s a 580% increase in cancellations globally in the past 2 days.

My dad took pfizer (clearly didn’t listen to me). The man has rarely been ill in his 80 years. He has spent the last 17 days sick. Fever, cognitive decline, sleeping most of the day. Doc had him do blood work. Liver enzymes through the roof. More blood work and an abdominal sonogram yesterday. Mom says he seems to be better today. Fever is gone. She has a So experienced some things medically that she’s never had before the shot.

Well,they want to stop commercial fights.
Restrict it to government officials and government employees only.

You might have been in the control group by chance. Every experimental drug has a control group whether the participant knows it or not.

84 million doses of the Moderna vax have been given out. I doubt it.

Ha! The writer is deceptive??

Because YOU say so?

I also say both the writer and headline writer are being deceptive.

The headline says:

"Thousands of flights cancelled as vaccinated pilots fall ill or die"

That's juxtaposing two facts with the intention of implying there's some evidence of connection, but there's none demonstrated in the article.

In fact, the article doesn't even claim vaccinated pilots are dying from the vaccine, only that some pilots who happened to have been vaccinated at some point died of some cause.

The writer of the article references a study about the Astra-Zeneca vaccine and blood clots and tries to tie it to flight cancellations at American and Southwest because of ill pilots.

The problem is no one in the US got the Astra-Zeneca vaccine so that link couldn't exist.

This is transparent, bush-league deception which, sadly, is actually a higher standard than most of the anti-vaxxer trash posted here.

What is the evidence that the number of flight cancellations is due to pilots/airline employees receiving vaccines?

Doctors say not related to the shot.

That must be the standard answer. I have a family member that also had a heart issue where one never existed before the vaccine. The doctors quickly reject any connection with the vaccine. Too quickly.

What happens to the airline industry when the credulous population that took the vaccines figures out that the same thing can happen to them in planes too?

Well, they’re not all in bed with your Mom, I hope.

The article pointed out

But between Friday and Saturday, 3,533 cancellations occurred. That’s a 580% increase in cancellations globally in the past 2 days.

Come up with another cause which happened in the last 2 days, globally.

Pilots are at elevated risk of DVT.
Those who get the jab are at elevated risk of DVT.
If news got out about 4 British Airways pilots dying from cardio-related stuff in a week (and there were 5 on an Indian airline) word of this would spread among the pilots INSTANTLY; as well as the Insurance companies (”When I die I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather, not screaming in terror like his passengers”).

Why would anyone compare a 2 day average to an annual average unless they had an agenda?

Because the data compare is not relevant to anything else.

From The Collaborative International Dictionary of English v.0.48 :

  Hysteria \Hys*te"ri*a\, n. [NL.: cf. F. hyst['e]rie. See
     Hysteric.] (Med.)
     A nervous affection, occurring almost exclusively in women,
     in which the emotional and reflex excitability is
     exaggerated, and the will power correspondingly diminished,
     so that the patient loses control over the emotions, becomes
     the victim of imaginary sensations, and often falls into
     paroxism or fits.
     [1913 Webster]

     Note: The chief symptoms are convulsive, tossing movements of
           the limbs and head, uncontrollable crying and laughing,
           and a choking sensation as if a ball were lodged in the
           throat. The affection presents the most varied
           symptoms, often simulating those of the gravest
           diseases, but generally curable by mental treatment
           alone. Hysteric

No excuses. I’ve held off on getting the vaccine, because I don’t trust the people pushing it, and the risk/reward doesn’t justify my getting it, given all the unknowns, such as long term side effects. But that doesn’t mean I won’t look critically at reports, just because they affirm my biases. I try to look at everything with the same jaundiced eye.

Both are happening at the same time.

Nothing to see here, though, right vax pusher?

FTA....

According to flightaware.com, 120,000 cancellations per year is the average for global flights. An average day would see 329 cancellations. A 2 day average would see 658 cancellations. But between Friday and Saturday, 3,533 cancellations occurred. That’s a 580% increase in cancellations globally in the past 2 days.....

~~~
Don’t you think this correlation, and 3.533 VERY recent flight cancellations (over a normal of 658 flight cancellations, a HUGE increase, over same time) at least deserves a look into?
Probably not, since vax-trolls don’t see reason to look at ANY of the MANY things shining a light, on these experimental and risky shots.
Troll on. FRAUDci thanks you.
Well go to a doctor and have your uterus removed then...
Or one archaic treatment was digital stimulation of the external genitalia, but I bet you’ve already got that one covered.
What you’re missing is that fact that the change is both sudden (2 day ramp-up) and massive (> 500%).
Why would airlines schedule flights they’d have known they’d need to cancel anyway, which would be the case of the hand-waving quick-distract-people-with-bs-excuse that “air crew need to be recertified after layoffs” ?
And it wouldn’t be so sudden, either.
Part of it might be word of pilots dying of clotting spread like wildfire through informal discussions among pilots; or the insurance companies cracked down until the airlines can assure them pilots won’t die mid-flight or during landing...
Oh, right.
“Because SCIENCE!”™
So how many pilots keep their cats on board and the litterboxes in the cockpit?
