“No, I won’t be posting a synopsis for those who claim to refuse to visit YouTube.”
Fair enough. Thanks for posting the article and link.

Thanks KarlInOhio. You did a better job than I did, but here is mine anyway. Also, thanks to FreedomPoster for pointing out what should be obvious. Certainly, any US ships would get blasted the first half hour into any shooting war.
This was really an enlightening video until the last two minutes when it turned into a commercial. Reading these two links should help. Politically there are a lot of countries on various sides of the issue, but without watching the video you just have to guess.

Good points plus the cos of building the canal 8n the first place plus the loss of the lands replaced by the new canal. It could pay off down the road but the plan comes with lots of uncertainties and risks.

Turkey is building an artificial canal to rival the Bosphorus strait.

Yes, the primary motivation, or pretext, is the long waits for shipping to move through the natural waterway. That will benefit Russia, the other states with Black Sea frontage, and China and other net exporters. But Erdogan's corruption is in the background.

It’s a good idea, building the bridge before the canal, simplifies traffic. :^)

I’m hardly a troll there SC. Just giving out a friendly - and needed - suggestion, not just to you but any poster including me. It’s a good suggestion, and you of course can trash it if you want. Looks like you have which I am sorry to see.

Old, old, old news.
