UFO report: Government can't explain 143 of 144 mysterious flying objects

The U.S. government can't explain 143 of the 144 cases of unidentified flying objects reported by military planes, according to a highly anticipated intelligence report released Friday.

[snip]

"In a limited number of incidents, UAP reportedly appeared to exhibit unusual flight characteristics. These observations could be the result of sensor errors, spoofing, or observer misperception and require additional rigorous analysis," the report said.

The report does not mention aliens or even vaguely hint at an extraterrestrial explanation for the reported sightings, but makes clear that much of the phenomena may be beyond the existing means the government has to identify such objects.

[snip]

A senior U.S. government official said ahead of the report's release Friday that, "We have no clear indications that there is any nonterrestrial explanation for them — but we will go wherever the data takes us."

The official added: “We do not have any data that indicates that any of these unidentified air phenomena are part of a foreign collection program nor do we have any data that is indicative of a major technological advancement by a potential adversary."

I have a friend who has worked for a Navy resupply contractor off shore for many years. They are definitely not ours.

I get the sarcasm. :)

Well, according to you proposed theory of “these images are clever depictions made from emissions detected by it, thermal, magnetic and perhaps other novel systems attached to airplanes via gimballed equipment that move track and articulate independently of the aircraft,” it has to be true - so when you go to Turkey ask for Junkyard Ali. He’s got great deals!

I think the ancient Sumerians were accurate with their records of origin.

But I do have an idea of what life on Earth requires. EVERYTHING else is guesswork and speculation. We only know what we know.

We know it took 3.5 billion years for multi-cell life to form on Earth. That knocks out most of the stars in our galaxy right there as they don’t last that long. You have to have a second or more generations star for the higher level elements like carbon or (less likely) silicon for long chain molecules to form.

You need a stable area of the universe, a stable planet, and, a planet that shields the surface from the very nasty radiation that is in space, that requires a good bit of iron to form a magnetic field, that also protects the atmosphere from being stripped off a planet.

As for life near the fumaroles under the sea, except for the single cell bacteria, all those creatures are descendants of creatures from the upper levels of the sea that adapted to life in the intense heat. Their ancestors didn’t form there (except maybe the bacteria).

There is WAY more needed just for single cell life. Just having a star, with a planet around it does NOT mean there can be life on that planet.

This is of course going by what we KNOW, not, speculation.

Serious question, have they tried shooting at them?

When you know humans lack the sensors to perceive ~98% of the mass in the universe (dark matter) — you know you don’t know anything.

You’re less than a speck, on a planet that is a tiny particle of dust relative to a nebula, what to speak of a galaxy, what to speak of the universe.

And those make up the part we can see... and they are ~2% of the universe.

We don’t understand dimensions and quantum entanglement.

We also don’t understand how time works in all localities and dimensions.

Yet when presented with video evidence of technology beyond our understanding of physics, you START with a macro-statement that it can’t be from outside earth.

These postulations about the limitations of ‘life’ are more absurd than a blind man describing an elephant.

Serious question, have they tried shooting at them?

Retired Naval officers and enlisted men who were serving on the ships harassed by UAP's have said the anti-drone measures were taken (who knows what's in that arsenal), but such measures proved to have no effect.

Zero, nada, zip.

Answer: to my knowledge, never, but possibly that’s because they can’t get either a radar lock or keep them in their sights long enough to shoot.

If these folks from “outside the Earth” are so advanced that they could cover the lightyears to get here, you would think that they could actually avoid being SEEN by us, until they are ready to reveal themselves?

Or, to do think that they are smart enough to get here, but, so incompetent that they can’t actually cover their own tracks? They can’t hypnotize folks so that we can’t uncover their mental tampering, while, we can put people in a sleep mode to give them a colonoscopy, and, they can’t remember anything about what happened?

Do you mean that they can travel lightyears, but, once they get here, their craft is so poor they crash land when they get here?

I think that the poor observing skills of most humans is the best explanation. I’ve been an amateur astronomer for 50+ years, and, have yet to see anything that I couldn’t point my binos or a telescope towards and identify it, if I couldn’t tell naked eye.

Brother, you've now moved from 'no way, not enough planets or time' to 'no way, what they're doing doesn't make sense to me so it can't be'.

You must begin your analysis from the rational standpoint, which is that you're analyzing their actions from a place of complete ignorance. You don't know their values or motives or what perspective on reality they're evaluating things from.

And 'observing skills' of Navy pilots with multiple instrument readings show impossible speeds and maneuvers in this encounter from an excellent interview with Commander David Fravor. You may find it entertaining. https://youtu.be/Eco2s3-0zsQ
